Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiance had his interview scheduled for 7:30am. He arrived at 7am and was the first one there. He said only him and one other guy was there for a K-1 interview. He was there for about 5hrs total. He was interviewd by a white male american. He asked him 3 questions. What do you do for work? How did you meet your fiancee? What are your plans for your wedding. He then said youre approved and handed him the blue paper. He said the man then said he saw in our paperwork that I had gone to Chale Wote art festival when I visited and did he have a exhibition in the festival (my fiance is an artist). My fiance said yes and told him which one it was. He remembered it and asked him if he had an instagram he could follow his artwork on! Lol My fiance said the man was very friendly and easy to talk to. I hope everyone else has a great and fairly easy experience too!

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Hi Visa Journey Family,
It looks like our journey is almost finished. javascript:emoticon('')
We initially filed for the K1 visa back in 2015 but was denied. We later got married and filed the CR-1. My husband attended his interview this morning at 7:30 at the Ghana embassy. This embassy is known to be the most toughest embassy on earth. Anyhow he said the entire process was not as long as the K1 interview. He was in at 7:30 and out by 11:30am. He said when he went inside they called his name to window 3 and gave him all of my paperwork that I submitted to NVC previously and then asked for the original documents and current proof of relationship. Then they said have a seat and someone will call you shortly. About a hour later his name was called to another window. He said it was a young Caucasian guy. And then the interview began. Here are the questions asked:
-So you met each other in 2013?
-Can you provide me chats for 2013... read complete review

My fiance went for his interview on May 16th, I was in Ghana so I accompanied him to the embassy and waited for him outside. The interview was scheduled for 7am however they did not start letting people in until 7:10 or so, after a long 5 hours he finally came outside. He casually walked over to me with a straight face as he got closer to me he started to smile at that moment I knew he was approved!!!!!!!

He said the interview was pretty straightforward, he was only asked 3 questions:

1. How did you meet your fiance?
2. Have you made any wedding plans?
3. What kind of work do you plan to do once you arrive to the states?

After my fiance replied to all the questions the CO said sounds great you are APPROVED!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure his interview was easy due to the fact I front loaded and provided pretty strong evidence supporting our relationship. I honestly think the decision is 95% predetermined based on evidence p... read complete review
