Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Hi Visa Journey Family,
It looks like our journey is almost finished. javascript:emoticon('')
We initially filed for the K1 visa back in 2015 but was denied. We later got married and filed the CR-1. My husband attended his interview this morning at 7:30 at the Ghana embassy. This embassy is known to be the most toughest embassy on earth. Anyhow he said the entire process was not as long as the K1 interview. He was in at 7:30 and out by 11:30am. He said when he went inside they called his name to window 3 and gave him all of my paperwork that I submitted to NVC previously and then asked for the original documents and current proof of relationship. Then they said have a seat and someone will call you shortly. About a hour later his name was called to another window. He said it was a young Caucasian guy. And then the interview began. Here are the questions asked:
-So you met each other in 2013?
-Can you provide me chats for 2013 and 2014?
-Does your spouse have kids?
-How many?
-What are there names?
-And how old are they?
-Where does she work and what type of work does she do?
-What type of company is it?
Then he really liked one of our pics from when we went to cape coast and actually touched a friendly crocodile. He then tried to guess the location but was incorrect. My husband corrected him stating that pic was in cape coast. The young nice guy said "ok, you are approved". My husband said thank you sir javascript:emoticon('')
He said he will keep his passport and birth certificate and will be ready in 3 weeks.

I truly believe that we would not have gotten this approval without VisaJourney. All who are waiting, please do all your research on this site because it will provide you loads of information. Thank you all!
I will keep you posted about his POE process. javascript:emoticon('')
