Hello good morning VJ members,
After consular interview with my two kids, i was told by the CO everything was fine except that my medical results were not ready by then. I was instructed to send the medical report with our passports as soon as its ready. The medical results were ready on 11th January 2018 because i did a sputum test.I posted the medical report with our 3 passport on the same day at DHL Accra office.
Our case is still under administrative processing after the ceac site was updated to 23rd January 2018. Is it a good sign that our visas will be issued soon and also when should we expect the visas.
Any experience from members of VJ.
Thanks

My wife and my Son went for their interview on January 3rd,2017,everything went well, but my wife was asked to submit a police report from UK,cos she visited for about 6 months, her passport and my Son's was return to her, and the CO asked her to submit both passport along with the UK police report though DHL office, we did submit them on the 18th January, and both my Son and My Wife's still shows AP(administrative Processing) and the was the case since the day of the interview. My question Do my & year old child has to go through this too?he was never requested to submit any additional documents. Is it normal ?and how long will it take to review the new document?its been a week already and no update, anyone with similar situation?

Firstly I thank Almighty God for his grace and favor and also all VJ members for their support and input for a successful interview and approval. My interview was scheduled on January 9th at 9: 30. I got to the embassy at 7: 30 And waited under the tree...LoL, like most people...we were called to form a queue around 9am and got our appointment and names ticked....went through security and into the main building where interview letters were taken....After about an hour and half, I was called to submit my documents. The last gave me copies which had the label additional documents on it to put aside.....she took passport pictures, passport, money transfer reciepts, wedding and random photos civil documents all originals but no copies. She also took husbands divorce docs and that was it, she refused to take husbands, tax returns, w2s, family letters and other supporting docs which made me a bit upset but she told me to sit and wait for my interview......at 11.30 I heard my name and co wa... read complete review

Hubby went to the interview on 12/6/17 appointment at 8 am he was out by 10 am. He was approved and he stated that the man who handled his case was very polite. He said that he asked him 5 questions, where was he going to live when he got to the states, did he know that I was previously married. When was the last time that he saw me, how many kids did I have, and one other that i forgot. He said the man got quiet so he asked him so what do I tell my wife, and he replied tell her you were approved!!!
He received his Visa on 12/13/17 and he was in the states on 12/22/17.
He had no issues coming through customs. Over all it was a very peaceful experience!
