Firstly I thank Almighty God for his grace and favor and also all VJ members for their support and input for a successful interview and approval. My interview was scheduled on January 9th at 9: 30. I got to the embassy at 7: 30 And waited under the tree...LoL, like most people...we were called to form a queue around 9am and got our appointment and names ticked....went through security and into the main building where interview letters were taken....After about an hour and half, I was called to submit my documents. The last gave me copies which had the label additional documents on it to put aside.....she took passport pictures, passport, money transfer reciepts, wedding and random photos civil documents all originals but no copies. She also took husbands divorce docs and that was it, she refused to take husbands, tax returns, w2s, family letters and other supporting docs which made me a bit upset but she told me to sit and wait for my interview......at 11.30 I heard my name and co was African American, really really nice guy and handsome. I swore the path and immediately after he a sked me if I had been given a information about rights of an immigrant spouse and domestic violence in the U.S. which i said no...he gave it to me and immediately I was calm because I could see an Approval already, he then asked me the usual questions , do you or your husband have any kids? Both of you ever been married? Have traveled out of the country? Ever applied for a U.S. visa? And then this , do you have any winter clothes?.......i knew it then...hahaha.....and then finally we talked about where I would be going and what I'd be doing...and he said the magic words.my interview didn't last more than 5mins and he smiled through out......i was the last but one for our category and I had watched so many people leave with sad faces already, so I was overjoyed. I picked up my passport from DHL yayyyyy!!!!! after 8days....i hope my experience helps all who have upcoming interviews......i believe the co' s there are friendly and not as mean as we've been made to believe over the years... I think the reputation of the embassy has changed a lot......my advice is prepare but don't over burden them with tons of evidence, quality over quantity really....i only had a few and co didn't ask me for one evidence.....NB: I also didn't front load or side load any chat or call logs, sent about 180 pages both on day of interview, maybe I was just lucky....All the best to those who have interviews and God guide you through.
