Review Topic: IR-2 Visa

The cousalate asked if there was a DNA test, no, then asked if there is a picture with mom and son, no, and then asked if there are receipts showing the money petitioner has sent, we didn't have it. They told him to sit down, then they called him.

But the prayer we have prayed, God is soooo good. Praise be to the most high. Jesus is the King!! Thank you Lord and thank you to all the people who were helpful during the visa process here on visajourney. I filed myself and it has been so helpful. They then called him up again and asked 5 questions.

IR-2 for child visa, did not say approved but did say to sign up on DHL to pick up visa in 2 weeks.

Mother DOB and age
Joint sponsor job, address

Visa Approved !

It was a smooth process. Interview lasted less than five minutes. Just that the environment inside the embassy is a little intimidating and unfriendly. The workers & security folks are a bit rude to visa applicants but that should not scare you at all, once you have all the necessary documents and everything is genuine you should be Ok.

i had passed through the security check point to the interview area .I was called to the counter to present my Police report, medicals, original marriage certificate and Proof of relationship.
I took along photo album containing our engagement ,court marriage and after pictures, call logs from facetime, whatsapp and vodafone, joint investment ,instagram pictures and comment ,money transfers and printed whatsapp messages .
I was called to the counter for the main interview after i took my oath and finger print. The CO asked me the following
wher my husband works
The last time he was in Ghana
where he lives
what job he does
whether i have been to the usa before
he also asked whether my marriage was not for immigration intent and i answered no .
But after going through ... read complete review

Review Topic: General Review

My fiancee had his interview at 730 and instead of it being a simple interview, it turned out to be a 45 minute interrogation which resulted in our petion being denied because the CO assumed that our relationship was a fraud! He never looked over our evidence just asked several "why questions" and decided to tell my fiancee that he's not going to approve us be he thinks that we're marrying for a green card. Unbelievable that they are able to make these assumptions and not realize how far some couples have come with each and at the interview, your fate is in the hands of someone that doesn't personally know of us! Hands down unfair and I will be fighting this until he's with me in the states! Good Luck to everyone else with their upcoming interview...
