We first got an interview date of 04/04/2016. Back in April, I attended but was not let in so waited outside. They took his visa payment, his DS-160 sheet, medical and passport pictures. Once my fiance got to the window, he was immediately rescheduled to June 9, 2016 and was told it was because of some type of emergency.
On the June 9th date, he went through the normal processing and turned in all his evidence that remained such as our pictures together and chat logs and tax docs. Once in front of the counselor, she asked him all the questions in the book from how we met to schools I had attended to what we have in common and so forth. My fiance answered as the counselor nodded her head and typed on the computer. He had mentioned that she was not smiling but he kept a nice expression either way. She really grilled him and made sure he was knowledgable about me his fiance. First interview was on 20th June, my fiance came to Ghana to support me. Our time was 7:30 but we got there at 6:00am. The C/O was an elderly black lady. She asked me the following.
How old is my fiance.
How did we meet.
Last time we met.
Does she have any children.
Do I have too.
What were we at Istanbul for.
She asked me to sit.I sat.then called me again after few seconds. Then asked me how old is my fiance's child.
Then she said she wanna review our case without asking for more information. So we were scheduled to return on 27/june/2016 at 1pm.
We went. Same ole black lady.
I actually went out to pray zuhur, I just ended and my name was called so some other applicant came to call me.
She asked same questions about istanbul and how my family is looking at our union. It was clearly seen that my parents are happy with us, but this woman being very unfriendly is telling me it doesn't work like that. She sa... read complete review

My husbands first interview went well we thought. He and the officer were even laughing. FFO was his officer. He was asked to come back a month later with more proof. We had what we thought was good proof. A photo album, 5 months of phone calls highlighted, some skype conversations, 4 months of whatsapp conversations, some western union slips but it wasn't enough. FFO actually kept him waiting 4 hours then proceed to tell my husband that our marriage was a "sham". Never asked him any additional questions and said I would have 1 year to prove that our marriage was legit. In the NOIR, FFO lied and said he asked questions in the 2nd interview along with saying he asked my husband questions in the first that he did not ask, he even went as far as accusing us of being involved in criminal activity! How can they get away with saying such things? We are awaiting a response from our answer to their NOIR.
