So after I was been denied for a Fiancé visa in January 2014 because we applied for a wrong petition my wife filed for a CR1 for me and I went for an interview October 2016 and he CO said our marriage is a sham 😔 . We have not heard from them till this month my wife came to Ghana and we went to the embassy. They did not allowed us to enter because we wanted to know what was happening with our petition .. But the security took her passport into the embassy and told my wife to call a number and we did that. She spoke to a woman and she gave her our case number and the lady said they will contact me back to let me know what's happening with my case. They called me yesterday that they now sending the case back and am really surprised that if we did not go to the embassy they will be keeping the case without sending it back. Please I will like to know how long it takes for them to reaffirm the case and the process . Because it's been a long journey since 2014 and I cannot wait f... read complete review

I interviewed on the 9th of March as a spouse of a citizen and I'm currently waiting for my passport from DHL. I found the consular to be polite, friendly and straight to the point. He asked two questions, i.e. 'do you currently have a job?' and 'what does you wife do?' and said everything was in order and my visa will be approved. I was told to wait for at least 2 weeks to pick up my visa at DHL.
Things to expect
1. If you're carrying a bag, leave it in your car, with someone you came with or at home. Same goes for your phone. You will not be allowed to enter with either. Not sure this was the same when I got my B2 in London.
2. Taxi drivers near the embassy, pretend to be experts on visa matters without introducing themselves as taxi drivers. They work with small business stalls that help with passport pictures and printing of documents. Do your research and be prepared before coming to the embassy.
3. Be patient and prepared to wait. Once you en... read complete review

I'm so disappointed at the decision. Of the US consular officer denying my Fiancé at his interview. Despite the fact that we have known each other for over a year, met.on a dating website, after 6 months of chatting via Skype I visited Ghana for 8 days. Met his family, friends and had a wonderful time. And we really compliment each other despite our 20 year ahead difference. It seems that the people working at US Embassy in Ghana are.biased against women who petition for men. After my fiance brought all the documents, pictures, skype messages and answered all her questions, all she had to say was I don't believe the relationship is real and are you aware she is 20 years older than you? If I were a 50 year old man petitioning a 31 year old woman, I DOUBT this would be an issue. Additionally, I am a Federal Employee with a high security clearance. I take offense to that Interviewer questioning my integrity and the authenticity of.our relationship. I would've never anticipated all of... read complete review

VISA APPROVED!!! I am so happy to say this journey is finally over. Our K1 was denied in December 2015, so safe to say I was a little nervous going into today. I am in Ghana to support my husband and was outside the embassy waiting. Luckily, I didn't have to wait long.
My husband's interview was the first of the day. He was interviewed by who he said was a "kind black woman." She asked the following questions:
1- How did we meet?
2- Who is this cousin you two talk about in your chats? (This question came from chats we submitted at the USCIS level)
3- Why do you refer to him as brother if he is your cousin?
4- Is your wife close with your cousin's wife?
5- Who is this woman you're talking about? (Cousin's mom)
6- Please identify these people in these pictures. (Pictures taken over the past 3 days)
Then she handed him the beautiful blue paper and said you're approved. I submitted a lot of quality evide... read complete review
