It was a good experience. they are orgnaized , were asked very few questiosn , standards, how , where , when we met. how many visits, when you got married.
thats it , the consular was not interested to see any pictures or evidence , our look did the play huhu, teh interviewer were very nice smiles alot. just as usual ended with an AP , no surprises.

I will paste part of my husband's email to give you an idea. I am not entirely sure about the attitude of the officer or courtesy issues. My rating will pend until I can update this review
i just got back i was in the embassy from 7-10:30 until i finished, i had the interview with the consular she asked me about how i met u and the times you came here and dates and about if u met my family and if i met urs ,if u were originaly egyptian and about the reason u came to egypt at first and i told her because u had a summer program in the AUC , in the end she said that everything looks good so she took my passport and said that it would take a month to send it back to me , she spoke to me in english after she asked me if i could speak english

American Embassy was on time for interview. Abdu very nicely treated by his interviewer. The interview lasted about 20 minutes. It was done partly in Arabic and partly in English. He said his interviewer was very nice lady. Then it was over and she told him congratulations he should receive the visa in 7 to 10 business days. Many prayers from the Christians here and the Muslims in Egypt made this visa possible. Thank God and allah akbar. May everyone else have success.

My husband arrived at 7:30 and had to wait quite a long time. There were a lot of people there that day. He was called up, and asked for his birth certif., and told to sit back down. Then called up and asked for our marriage certif., and asked to sit back down. Finally he was called up for the interview. The CO was a man who spoke Arabic. He asked my husband: when we were married, how we met, what I did in the U.S., how do we keep in touch, what my husband does. He gave him back his original documents and my husband asked if he wanted to see any of the pics from my visits and our wedding. The CO said no, everything is fine. He then said that my husband should receive his visa within 2 wks. Marbrook! Five days later, the visa was in my husband's hands!!
