Woohoo! Visa approved!
The interview process went smoothly. We arrived at 7:30 for our 8:00 appt, as we had read not to arrive more than 30 minutes early. We parked a block down the street for 200 pesos and walked to the line. There were perhaps 100 people in line for the immigrant line, and 10-15 in the other lines. I went to the head of the line to be sure what line to be in, since I was confused. She looked at our paper and waved both of us in in front of the other 100 people (possibly because of our interview time?). Although the website says not more than 30 minutes and 7:30 was just fine for us, if I could do it over I would have gotten there at 7:00 just for a little more breathing room.

Interview for K1 Visa on Feb 12th: using the new process where you schedule your own interview via (www.ustraveldocs.com/do) process was fairly easy arrive at the Embasy at 6:45am lines were already from... to enter the embasy had to show appoitment letter and confirmation page of DS160 online application... once thru security was given number 241 number were called in order for the first go around... once at the windown the officer ask for the letter that was mailed to me explain nothing was mailed as everything was done via the website... she took the confirmation page, medical exam envelope and passport and asked us to take a seat that she would call us to the windown... about and hr later she called my fiance name back to the windwon she appologies as she sd they had a hard time find my package... she proceded to request the policy certificate, and her birthcertificate... and sd that next time we would be called would be for the interview... about an hr later our number was again c... read complete review

Quick and easy got there at 6 45 was out about 8 05
gave the paper work in the first window waited like 10 minutes they called us
ask us 4 question how long we been together , if i have 2 girls, if we have a baby together, we say yes asked for the birth certificate and if he has any relative in the us.
