Our appointment was at 7am. We took our 6 mo old daughter and they let us in immediately. Its a very nice campus. After the first entrance you go through security. Then you sit in an outside area. They line you up and let you giving you a number. We waited for about 45 minutes until they called for my husband's documents. They took his medical report and original legalized documents (marriage certificate, police report, birth certificate inextensa), the DS260 confirmation and appointment letter. My husband had brought the extracto birth certificate instead of the inextensa. We got really nervous and the woman said to not worry that we can turn it in when we go to get his passport. The woman gave us a pamphlet about domestic violence and told us to read it.

We sat back down and waited for another hour or so. We were called back for the interview with a young African American woman. She was very nice. After we were sworn in she asked about what my husband had understood fr... read complete review

Got there at 4:30 in the morning and was the 2nd person on line for an 8AM appointment, which only determines what line you line up on. I was on line until about 7AM and went inside.

Took a ticket, and was visited by the first person within 15 minutes. The process was very straightforward - he went over the paperwork and that's it. He did not care about nothing else, and told us to have a seat and wait for the second interview.

The second interview took forever. We waited about 2 hours, and fought sleepiness and frustration. By the time our number was called, we totally forgot about being nervous and just wanted to get our interview over with.

I must say, the woman who helped us was extremely friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better person. She seemed saavy enough to know about using Viber and WhatsApp and generally made us feel as she understood how it's possible to carry conversations.

I had been to the Dominican ... read complete review

Hello everyone so here is our interview story for April 1st @9am. Sorry in advance for it being so long but hey I know that I used to appreciate all the little details. So here it goes:

I woke up at 5:30am. Junior laid in the bed a little while longer. I got up showered and got myself together then help him get ready. I wanted to be at the embassy around 8am but we were running a little late so we arrived at 8:15am. There were like 10 people total in the lines outside. I didn't see any of those famous buscones. By the way, Junior is still on crutches so we wanted to use this to our full advantage. I grabbed an officer and explained that he couldn’t stand that long outside and she rushed us in. So we skipped that line outside. Then we went through security and were not separated. All I brought with me was a sweater and all of our evidence (photos, money transfers, love letters etc.) in a huge folder. We went to the outside seating area where they make you sit down and c... read complete review

Arrived at US Embassy today 03/24/15 at around 6am for a 7am appointment. Once inside received #194 and things went fairly quickly with the first window person who asked for paper work such as medical, police certificate..etc. We then sat down and waited about 3 hours to our interview. Met with an american man and asked if we wanted both questions in english and spanish..we said yes. Told us to raise our right hands and my fiancé raised her left…haha..i quickly corrected her and sworn us in. I the petitioner was asked all the questions about 10 of them except for only one from my fiancé..haha. 1. How did we met. 2. Show photos of us together. 3. What hotel I stayed when I met with her over the last year. 4. What color was her car..haha. 5. Why i drove her car I say because I am better driver..haha. 6. The age of fiancé daughter and a few more i forget. Question for Fiance….1. Did she love me? He pick up his stamp and said to fiancé welcome to the United St... read complete review
