Approved! We arrived before the 8am appointment time. There were lots of people and 4 waiting lines and the very last person we spoke to asked the relationship visa questions.

Be at least half an hour befone appointment specially if you interview is scheduled in the early morning. There are snacks available but be advised that you may be called at any time since at least we could not figure out how the turn numbers were called. We recommend going with a full stomach as the waiting times are long. Took us about 3 hours
Consulate officer was very professional in asking questions. Athought he was brief the officer was kind when explaining that we got a 221 g refusal asking for further documents. Refer to our posts for details.
Any more questiosn please feel free to PM.

I read several reviews here on VJ and they were correct in saying that the embassy staff is organized and professional. We were treated very well and in a highly respectful manner. Our advice is to front load everything on order that the interview process is smooth. We were only asked for original documents since they already had everything from USCIS amd NVC. It was a pleasant experience for us. Just prepare, be transparent, and if you are genuine, success will result.

I had read several reviews so I felt ready when it came to the day. We knew you could not take any electronics and I did not risk taking a purse but I did see some women with purses, I just took my binder with all my files. Our appointment was at 8:00am. We arrived by Uber at 7:30am. They had us wait outside in the order that we arrived. By 8:00am sharp they moved us to a line inside where we would go to a window when it was our turn and my fiance would turn in all that paperwork that was required of him (medical, police report....) and they gave us a number and asked us to go to a much larger waiting room and wait for our number to be called so we could go to another window where our interview would take place. This part is the nerve wrecking part since you are watching people approaching the windows and some are approved but some are not. Keep positive at all time! Keep each other calm it's the best way. We waited an hour and was called up at 9:00am. I have a friend that her official ... read complete review

Our appointment was at 9 but we got there around 6:45. We Ubered there so we had to find a place to go leave our electronics and make copies. The office we went to is a block away, they tried to skyrocket prices for us so we said we’d go somewhere else and sure enough the price went down. We entered the line for residency. Once through security we went to sit in these outside benches, after about 30 minutes we entered the main building. They gave us a number as we walked in. In the new line this is where we gave them the medical records, passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate and appointment letter. We were then told to sit and wait. Our number was called and my husband was asked 4-5 questions. 3 minutes later we were approved. I was only asked if my husband had any children. Our official was very nice and she laughed with us. Just smile, be happy, and tell the truth. It didn’t even feel like we waited 3 hours. The whole process is very organized!
