We went for the interview at the Guyana Embassy.it was a very fast process once we were there. Our appointment was for 8am and we got there at 7:35am,by 7:40 we were inside waiting for out tu rn. We didn't bring a translator, they called and interview in Spanish. Havana applicants and Guyana applicant are given different colors when they check in. Cuba Red and Guyana blue. They called at 8:45 to give paperwork and do fingerprints. We sat down and waited like 20 mins and they called again for the interview. We were out of there by 9:20.

The whole process was very easy and not stressful. We arrived early. Our appointment was 10:30 but they called for people up until 10:30 at about 9:15. Upon entering the embassy, we had to turn our phones off and take off our jackets. First, an employee at the gate checked us in electronically and checked our key documents (marriage certificates, birth certificates, etc.). Then, we passed through security. Upon entering the embassy, we first had to go to a check in window where they looked at our key documents again and asked my husband: 1. Who was petitioning him, my name, his parents names, and our wedding date. Then, we were given a number and sat to wait for our interview. We waited about 45 mins (there's coffee to buy inside, which is nice).
The interview itself was painless. They asked my husband: 1. who was petitioning him, 2. where I worked, 3. what I do, 4. who I live with, 5. If we have kids together/separately, 5. If he was a member of the Communist party. It... read complete review

We had extraordinary difficulty obtaining Daniela's transit visa in Havana at the Colombian Embassy due to an overwhelming number fo applicants there, a week-long suspension of interviews during Colombian elections, and a subsequent holiday. We had to reschedule our original March 16 interview date and all of our plane tickets, hotels, etc. In the end, we were extremely fortunate that everything worked out and we got in for a March 22 interview at the Embassy in Bogota. Daniela said that the officer was very friendly. She brought a very well-organized packet of all needed documents. The officer reviewed them briefly, asked her a few casual questions about me and about a picture with my family in it, and then gave the thumbs up!! The experience at the Embassy in Bogota overall was great. The process leading up to it was another story.

Our appointment was at 8am and as others have reported, everyone waiting for interviews is gathered across the street from a park where they announce appointment times over a loud speaker. When each appointment time is called, a rush of people with that appointment line up to queue to enter the embassy grounds.
Once inside, we lined up for our first documents check - the woman who reviewed our documents told me we were missing MY (petitioner's) birth certificate - and that my passport wouldn’t suffice. She asked me 2 or 3 times if I was certain I didn’t bring it and then gave us our green stickers (that said “Kâ€) and gave me a look like ‘yikes, that was a big mistake.’ Turned out to be a non-issue - I was never asked for it again.

SERÉ CONCRETO CON LAS PREGUNTAS QUE HICIERON EN NUESTRO CASO.
