When we arrived at the embassy for the interview it was 6:15am.mwe were the first in line. After checkin, passing through security, we were asked to sit and wait. We waited 45 minutes until we were asked to approach the windows in the back of the waiting area. They checked our papers and told us to sit by the windows over by the coffee shop area of the waiting room. After waiting another 45 minutes we were called my number to the window. My fiancée was asked several questions about us, date of birth, where we met, etc. The interview lasted no more then about 5 minutes. The counselor on the other side of the window told us congrats and we left the embassy with big smiles on our faces. Over all it was simple and took only two hours. Be patient, many people will be going a head of you, going into other lines, etc. there are many different processes for different people. Just be patient, they'll get to you even when it looks like someone is going ahead of you. When they are ready for you ... read complete review

I had my interview for december 2th, since I live in Medellín and I couldn't take many days off from work, I traveled the day before to do de medical exam, fortunately everything was fine so I got the results the same day, the appointment was with Dr Rodolfo Dennis, I recommend it.
On the interview the consul didn't ask me for any additional document, only asked me the date of the marriage, if I have been in prison and that was it, a really quick and efficient process.

My fiance arrived at the U.A embassy at 730am, his interview was set for 8am, he was asked for the documents upon the first call, then waited an hour and he was called in for the interview, he was asked for his fiance name, date of birth, how old is she, where she lives, and then my fiance got confused and didn't take his police certificate from when he lived in new Zealand, the consul asked him to send it to him by email before noonoon and that he will get approved. My fiance kindly asked to expedite his visa because of work related trip he needed to Make by the following week. The consul very nicely told him to pick up his password in 6 days, once my fiance left the embassy he found the certificate in his email and sent it, 30 minutes later he received and email saying his visa was approved.
Today almost a week later he picked up his passport, visa ready to go!!!=)
