Hola querid@s amig@s...

My fiance traveled three days prior to the interview to get all the medical exams completed.
We chose Dr. Roa.
The medical exam itself only lasted about 15 minutes. It's more waiting than the actual exam itself.
We required to take 8 pictures in total for medical exams and interview.
No vaccines were given and the doctor didn't fill out the vaccines form because he said that it was not required for K1 Visa, but from what I've seen here in VJ, it will be a problem/delay later on in adjustment of status process javascript:emoticon(' ').
My Fiance stayed at a Hotel near the medical exams for the first night to avoid the crazy traffic back and forth from the embassy. Then the last night spent in a hotel closer to the embassy.
The interview appointment was at 7:30am. My fiance arrived at 7am and was allowed to go in. Waited for about 3 hours before finally being called to the window.
The questions asked w... read complete review

BEWARE OF DR. DENNIS!
Dear fellow K1 filers from Colombia, just a warning to you, avoid Dr. Rodolfo Dennis in Bogota, Colombia. My husband (then fiance) saw him to complete his medical exam for the K1 visa back in September 2015. Dr. Dennis REFUSED to complete the DS3025. He told us it was not required for the K1. Technically this is true, HOWEVER it is REQUIRED for Adjustment of Status. He told us he would not complete it and he even showed us he was putting a BLANK DS3025 in the sealed packet. I begged him to please complete it and he said no. Needless to say, we got a RFE this past week, for vaccinations. I knew this was going to happen.
I see a lot people posting on VJ to avoid the other doctors in Colombia because they make you get all the vaccines again. THIS IS A GOOD THING! It means they are going to complete the DS3025 for you.
Again, DO NOT SEE DR. DENNIS!

Fiancee had no problems with interview, only a couple of basic questions like where did I work, did I visit her and how many times and where did we meet.
I had her organize all of the papers so it would be easy to provide as they were requested. The entire process including waiting took about two hours. There was nothing to worry about.
She was able to schedule the doctor and lab appointments last week and except for the heavy traffic everything went fine.
