Review Topic: K1 Visa

My fiance traveled three days prior to the interview to get all the medical exams completed.
We chose Dr. Roa.
The medical exam itself only lasted about 15 minutes. It's more waiting than the actual exam itself.
We required to take 8 pictures in total for medical exams and interview.
No vaccines were given and the doctor didn't fill out the vaccines form because he said that it was not required for K1 Visa, but from what I've seen here in VJ, it will be a problem/delay later on in adjustment of status process javascript:emoticon('').
My Fiance stayed at a Hotel near the medical exams for the first night to avoid the crazy traffic back and forth from the embassy. Then the last night spent in a hotel closer to the embassy.

The interview appointment was at 7:30am. My fiance arrived at 7am and was allowed to go in. Waited for about 3 hours before finally being called to the window.

The questions asked were:

- Fiance/Petitioner Name
- How we met?
- When and Where?
- How we communicate?
- Has your fiance/petitioner visited Colombia?
- Have you traveled to the US before?
- Do you speak English?
- Where does your fiance live in the US?

After all the questions the officer said your visa has been approved, congratulations!

The experience was pretty smooth so my fiance says. Everything went well and thank God we were approved javascript:emoticon('')

Now we are just waiting for the visa, which we were told would take up to 2 weeks to receive! javascript:emoticon('')javascript:emoticon('')
