This consulate and CGI Stanley (ustraveldocs) are an absolute joke. I curious what work actually gets done at this office. They actively try to delay your processing and passport. They loose your passport and then they tell you that "the passport is CITC bank's issue, not CGI Stanley". i hope no one else has to go through the nightmare that we have been through.

Interviewer ignored much of the evidence she provided, and did not want to speak in English. (My fiancee's english is good.) He instead asked her for my Skype name. When she gave my full name as she sees it in Skype (not my Skype user name) he insisted that it was not possible and spent some time in the interview returning again to this issue.
1. I have taken four trips to China, met her family on three of the four tips, and she has visited me and my parents in the U.S. twice, the second time staying for five months. We have had a lot of time together in person. None of the questions were about this time together.
2. Now we are away from each other, we use FaceTime (both Apple users) and talk twice a day, morning and evening for about an hour. We very rarely use Skype at all (except to talk to other members of my family), but when we do she clicks on the full name, rather than my Skype user name.
Outcome: Blue slip, however we have been aske... read complete review

Me and my daughter has a very pleasant interview with the officer. Got only few questions about how we meet with my fiance. Since our love is so genuine and we had lots of proving evidences, so it was easy for me as well even for my daughter. We got an approval just right after the interview of the second interviewer, an american. He keep his smile and had a very pleasant manner. The first chinese lady who interview us and gather all of our documents was really tough on her questioning in Cantonese, but we managed to answer them correctly according to the truth of our relationship. She showed us at the end a very satisfied smile. Two thumbs up for these officers....not because they approved my visa but because they did a good work and applied the laid down procesdures during the interview; the power to see the genuinity on the case.
For me, God is good. He is really great to those who deserves it. Yeah!javascript:emoticon(' ')javascript:emoticon(' ... read complete review

Appointment was scheduled for 8:45 a.m. but at 8:00 a.m. there was a Chinese fire drill once they opened the gate and everyone pushed their way to where two ladies were checking passports against a list of names. They pulled a sticker and placed it on the passport and then let them proceed into the security check point. I waited just outside while all of this was happening but could see. Fiancée was out at 9:45 a.m. with approval letter in her hands and a big smile on her face. The interviewer only asked three questions and then asked her to write my name down on a piece of paper. The questions were simple like, why I came to china and how we meet.
I had prepared the I-134 form along with a letter from my employer, bank statements, last 3 year tax summaries and last 3 year W2s. They only took the form and my last year W2.
I had also printed out all of the emails received (5 or 6 of them) from the USCIS and the embassy, which they took all of them. It was... read complete review

Appointment was on 10/22 at 9:45 in the morning. I think she got there about an hour ahead of time and waited outside until 10:05 when her appointment time was called.
She went through document intake and then waited in "Zone B" for her interview.
She speaks both English and Mandarin. She was prepared to conduct the interview in English (we prepared in English) but it sounds like the CO kept defaulting back to Mandarin. At one point the VO (female) did test her English which was after she was asked how we communicate and she told her in English.
How did you meet?
How many times has he been to China?
How long did he stay first trip? How long second trip?
Has he met your family?
What does he do for a living?
How much money does he make?
Does he live in an Apt or a house? How many rooms?
How many times has he been married?
You still want to marry him even though he's divorced?
