We were given a Preliminary Approval pending the submission of a correct Notarized Divorce Paper (booklet) from the right province.
DO NOT LISTEN TO NOTARIES. They will lie. Her Notary informed her that she did not need a notarized Divorce Paper... and only Needed Notarized copies of her "Not married and OK to get married" paper and her Notarized "Crime Free" report.
This is not true.
When my Fiancee returned there... the Notary advised her that she cannot do the Notarized Divorce Paper (maybe due to a past violation?). But she was glad to make money on the other two papers.
IF... you have been divorced... you NEED a Notarized English copy of the Divorce Booklet by a Notary in the Province where you were Divorced/Married.
Now our status is now the dreaded "Administrative Processing" even though they have had the missing information for a week.

My wife said the staff at the Consulate were very welcoming, and made her feel more comfortable about being there than she was when she went in (a bit nervous about the interview, as everyone is!)

Interview result: Approved!
So my interview is scheduled at 9:40am. It was 9am when I got to the consulate and there has already been a queue for 9:40 interviewees. We have waited for almost an hour outside the office building until they let us in at about 10am.
First I was asked to submit the documents needed, they took my:
1. Medical examination results (open it in front of the staff)
2. Notarized birth certificate
3. Notarized marriage certificate
4. Police certificates ( I have both Chinese and Australian ones 'cos I have been in Australia for 2 years)
5. Form I-864
6. Photocopy of my husband's tax return for last year
7. My passport
8. Passport photo x 2
After that the lady staff asked me to wait to be called for interview.
At the interview I took an oath and the officer took my fingerprints. He asked me if I can speak English and I said yes.
