People were nice to me. In the beginning they spoke Chinese, but after they knew I studied English in college they started speaking in english. The interview lasted about 5 minutes and everything went well.

Was asked about nine questions. Three of the questions required her to show divorce papers, tax returns and I-134 form. Then asked to see pictures. VO was an American woman. She smiled and was "very nice".

My sweetheart had her K-1 Visa interview yesterday. She arrived at the Consulate at the apppointed time of 7:15am. She waited and was called in to a very nice female VO around 9:30am. The VO asked her four questions:
1) May I please see your I-134?
2) What does your fiance do for a living?
3) Where does your fiance work?
4) Why did you stop your previous K-1 application?
Rong answered all of the questions, then asked the VO if she wanted to see any of our documented evidence of a bonified relationship. The VO answered that she did not need to see it, she had already seen the file and it was not necessary. The VO then told Rong the her visa was approved and said to her, "Welcome to the United States of America!"
Rong said the total time she was in front of the VO was three minutes at the very most! Rong was awake most of the night before as she was nervous about the interview. I tried to reassure her that all was in orde... read complete review

Zhen's Interview went very smoothly; VO asked to see my I-134 & then some photos... stopped at pic of my Mom & Zhen together in Guangzhou, then said: "Enjoy your new life in the US!" SWEET!!!
Of course we had a ton of evidence ready for the VO, but they didn't look at most of it; 500+ emails, all 'MSN' logs, all 'Pingo' phone Logs, Tax info for '03, '04, '05 & a Letter of Employment showing End-of year Salary for 2006, Photos & DVDs of Honeymoon and other trips together, cards, letters, etc.. I think my poor wife's arm is now a few inches longer from having to carry it all!
Zhen handed the VO 2 things first, as I begged her to do, haha: (1) A Personal Letter stating I was downstairs waiting for the Interview result, that I had been to China 4 times to see her (my passport was included as well as a copy of my Mom's), and that I love my wife dearly! (2) A complete & detailed List stating every piece of Evidenc... read complete review

My w.ife had interview on 1/24/07.The VO was a white American woman who spoke Chinese. She asked how many times I came to visit her in China. When and why We got divorced, and was asked to show my flight tickets to China. The interview took less then 10 minutes and the VO was very friendly and courteous. I think the case was predetermined and the few questions just to confirm this. Visa was picked up 2 days later in the local Post Office.
