My interview was on Sept. 21, 2016 at 7:45am.

My fiancé and I arrived at 7am and there were 2 ladies and a family of 3 in front of us so we got in line behind them. As it got closer to 7:15, a lot more people started to show up. We were glad we got there when we did to beat the crowd!

At around 7:30, the security guard turned the lights on inside the building and opened up the doors. Right from the get go you could tell this security guard was not friendly. I was nervous everyone would be grumpy like him, but everyone inside was much nicer thankfully! He saw that the first lady in line had a backpack and told her right away that she wouldn't be able to get in with it. He asked if she had a hotel or anywhere to get rid of it. She didn't. So he told her that the Eaton building was the closest place that had public lockers. The family in front of us also had a small backpack for their child and they wouldn't allow it either, so they had to get out of lin... read complete review

My interview was on the 21st of september at 8:45AM.

First of all, let me tell you that if you are ready and have done your research, you will be fine. I was expecting so much worse and it really was a breeze.

The embassy is about an 8 minute walk from the Medisys clinic btw, if that's where you are doing your medical exam. Medisys opens at 7AM so I decided to go pick up my result at around 7:40. Took less than a minute and I had it in my hands and I walked to the embassy. It was easy to find as some people were already queuing up. When you're waiting outside, get your D-160 and your passport out because the security guard will ask to see it and you will give it to the first person you meet inside.

After maybe 10 minutes I was let inside and a lady highlighted my name on a piece of paper and gave me a laminated sheet with number 11 on it. I went through security, left my phone and earphones with them. Do bring your phone with you, that pro... read complete review

Before I write an entire review, please know that this part of the process is the EASIEST and there's no reason to stress over it. As long as you have all the required documentation, you're absolutely good to go.

My fiancée and I arrived at the consulate at 715 AM for my 745 AM interview. There was around 20 people in line, but it doesn't matter where you are in line because you'll most likely end up upstairs with everybody eventually at the same time. A man started walking along the lineup checking if we had our DS 160 and passport handy around 730 AM. A few people did not have their physical DS 160 with them, so the consulate worker advised them to go get it printed. At one point, a few people were let inside one by one. Once you get inside, a small line is formed directly to the left of the door where a lady took my passport and DS 160. She did some work on her iPad and then said we were good to go. She handed me a laminated form that had my number on it and a list... read complete review

I had an early interview scheduled for 8:15 am, and I showed up at around 7:00 am just in case, and there was a rather lengthy line outside the consulate. Looking around, I could tell I had waaaay less documents than most of the people in the line, as some people brought boxes of info with them to the interview, and that made me feel initially underprepared as I only had a 1-inch thick binder.

Eventually one of the officers start interacting with the line, asking everyone to have their DS-160 and their passports together. Eventually, one at a time, the line started moving forward as they check our passport and DS-160 print-out (make sure it's printed out! They told the guy in front of me who only had a copy on his phone to get it printed out and come back). They also want you turning off your phones at this point too if you brought one with you (it's okay if you do, some people didn't but they will give you a ticket with a number on it to let you reclaim your phone. Don'... read complete review
