Our interview was scheduled on January 17th , and like everyone else we were anxious for our interview. We applied for a K2 visa in addition to the K1 so the three of us attended the interview together. The Rio consulate is very tranquil, you really don’t have to worry about the interview if you come prepared with all the right documents. There were a few people who did not come prepared with the proper documents and had to leave or look for their documents online in order to print them out. If you submitted sufficient proof of your relationship the interview should be easy. We brought a copy of our K1 packet, extra proof of relationship, and some other papers but the only extra document the consular officer asked us for was a receipt to prove that we paid 2 visa fees (K1 and K2) and not just one.

My interview was really easy and fast. The consular officer just asked basic questions such as:
* When did you meet?
* Where did you meet?
* When did he propose?
* Where are you going to live there?
Then he said "Congratulations, your visa is approved! Good luck there!".

P.s.: Even though the first appointment time is 7:20am, the consular officer only starts the interviews at 9:00, so be prepared to be there for a couple hours.

The consulate accepted all the paper I have submitted, although requested me an I-601 waiver for unlawful presence in the US.
