I came to embassy at 8:10. There was long line already. So I recomnend to come earlier. I got inside only at 9, went through security. Then I got registration number at window 13 and took seat. It was cold enough because of airconditioner. In 40 minutes I was called to window 13 where nice russian speaking woman took my documents (passports, birthcertificates, document of termination previous marriage, photos 2*2', DS160, police certificate, translations and copies, and form 134 Affidavit of support. She was preparing folder for consular officer and she asked me a couple questions and made several notes on special blank. Then I was waiting again for about 1 hour and the same woman from window 13 called me to take my fingerprints. I was called for real interview only about 11:45 in the window #12. The consular officer woman was very nice and friendly. She asked first what language I preffered, asked me to swear. Then were a couple a simple questions, and she said : "Congratulations! The visit to the Embassy was the easiest part of the process so far. They set all appointments for 8:30. We got there at 8:00, and there was already a long line at security. (It was about 45 minutes waiting on the sidewalk before we even got into the building… you may want an umbrella.)
Once you do get inside, you go downstairs, and the room is split into two sides – the visitor visas on the left and the immigrant visas on the right. The people at the desk will direct you to the far right side of the room where all the immigrant visas are processed. When you get to the immigrant side of the room, you go straight up to the far right window, ring the bell for service, submit all your documents, and take a number. (We were the 7th interview and we had to wait until about 11:30.) Halfway through the wait they call you up for fingerprints, then you wait some more.
The actual interview was simple and took about 5 minutes. We both went to the window, raised our righ... read complete review

The interview was actually nice. I brought all the paperwork with me as requested in packet 3. The interview was scheduled at 8.30am. I arrived at 8 am and they already let in. Security check, then paperwork, fingerprints and about 2 hour wait for a consul. He was a lovely smiling man, we had a good laugh. He asked where and when we met, how many times I have been in the US, when we got engaged, when will be the wedding. Also where we plan to live and when I want to arrive to the US.
He didn't ask for tax papers, nor for employment letter or bank account. Only the affidavit from my fiance side. He also didn't need any proof of relationship. He actually gave me back the pics we submitted long time ago with the petition. Wished me all the best and congratulated on the visa.
