Finally, the interview went really well, simply, quickly, and easily. I spent about 2 hours there because there was a queue of people. The interview was broken into two steps: first, exhibiting all of the original paperwork and turning in my passports (all of them), and then the actual interview with the consular officer - a young kind man who made it quite pleasant.
Here are a few highlights:
- They did want photographs, letters, or other documentation of our relationship, but they never looked at them.
- They did not want a lease or any documentation of where we intend to live.
- They revoked my tourist visa, held my passport, instructed me to wait one or two weeks, and that they would contact me through email when I could pick up the passport with the new visa.
- My husband was not permitted to enter the building.

We arrived to the appointment an hour earlier and signed in with the staff at the embassy. They were actually happy we were there early. Inside the embassy I sat in a waiting room and was the first person in line. I was asked for my passport and some of the documents listed in the emailed instructions (three days earlier I went to the embassy and left a packet with all of the required documents needed for my interview, I still brought another copy with all of the documents with me to the interview). She asked for my birth entry (I printed the digital copy), she made sure I had the form I-134 and the interview confirmation and asked my fiancés full name before getting my fingerprints. This was an initial step and she was only interested in making sure I had everything I needed for the interview.

Medical Exams - 09/13/2022:
Scheduled my appointment with Dr. Grillo via WhatsApp. She received me at 9 am at her office, checked my vaccines and suggested me to apply the ones that will be needed to do the AOS once I'm in the US, in my case was the flu one and the "doble bacteriana". She told me to go to a Vacunar instead of having the shots in la Trinidad as they were out of stock, which ended up being better as my medical insurance covered both 100% there. Headed to la Trinidad, paid for the blood exam $650 pesos, made the blood exam, went to the x-ray desk, paid for the x-ray exam $2000 pesos, made the x-ray. Went to Vacunar, got my two shots. Got back to the Doc's office, gave her my vaccine cards again and she did the physical exam. All good, she told me we will meet the next day at the embassy to get my envelope with the results.

Things went quickly, the interviewer was friendly but brief. We needed to retake passport photos and then make a second trip to the embassy to resubmit original documents. Why she didn't keep them at the interview we don't know. I was not allowed inside the embassy at anytime during the process.
