Interview went well, i was missing important documents and was told to submit them through VFS.CO did mention that he will APPROVE the petition once he receives those documents.
He kept hes word and was APPROVED.
My advise is to lay off those negative blogs and forums you read about Consulate processing your visa.

My fiance had his interview in Algiers on 11/28/16. He arrived early, and waited outside the embassy. They opened the doors at 7:30am. They do security checks when you first come in, and you can hand over your phone, at that time (you cannot take it in with you). The interview was supposed to begin at 8:30am, but he had to wait until around noon to be seen.
When he first went in at 7:30am, he had to wait about 10 minutes, then they told him to go to counter #1 to pay (this counter is the payment window/station; he paid 29200 DA). He showed his passport and the DS-160 confirmation and gave them his two 2x2 in. (5x5 cm.) pictures. Then he had to wait almost an hour for the next step.
After an hour someone called him to counter #2 to hand over all his paperwork (the new packet and medical records), and they took his fingerprints. (Counters #2-#4 are for paperwork/fingerprints.) Then he had to wait around 3 hours, until he was called to counter #7 (#5-... read complete review

Salam Alaykum all
I got to the embassy at 7:35 am and that's when they started allowing applicants to get to in, I stood in a line in front of a window to give my ID to the agent so I could get a visitor badge, then I waited in front of the door, an agent will open the door n tell you when to come in. After you get in you put all your metal stuff ( money coins, watch, keys..etc) and vest in a plastic box + your shoes to go through the scanner and you give them your phone, then you go through the scanner and you pick your stuff except for the phone (they will keep it till you go out) you will walk down to another building where you will find the door on your left, you get in, you give the agent your passport and your DS-160 confirmation, she/he will tell you to go to 'guichet' = counter N°1 to pay visa fees, we waited before counter till it opened around 8:10 am and K1 visa applicants paid 29200 DZD on that day, you will be asked to sit and wait till they call your name, afte... read complete review

Hello;
My experience at US embassy was very interesting. the interview was in two episodes.
on Oct 10, i just delivered the Documents, finger prints and pay the fees and i was told to come back next day to do the interview. (first day in details : http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/612772-k1-interviews-algeria-round1/
The second day on Oct 11, the CO was mean and tough. basically did not ask me anything just studied my file before and select some weak points and questioned me about it and what ever i answer he say " I'm not convinced" i heard this the whole interview. the points he insisted on are :
- How come a business relationship turned to a romance and then intention of marriage.
- Why our relation was sooo slow for three years and then things speed up sooo fast in 2 months.
- Why we applied for the K1 just after 2 ... read complete review
