Just updating status now. Got the text message tonight. We're approved and the NOA2 in the mail! Tried to call Elena but she is sleeping and out at the kitchen garden and I can't reach her! She will be so happy when she wakes up! Thanks for all your concern and support. Now to the next step!

Just got the text from USCIS one hour ago! K-1 Petition approved as of the 17th. Will get NOA2 in the mail! Yeh!!!!

Hi Mike! I called the National toll free number. Not Vermont directly. No reason and no information for what I described in their response to me. Just wait up to another 30 days. If I can find a away to get direct to Vermont I will contact them.

Called USCIS today July 18. When they told me to call and they just pushed me off for another 30 days. No explanation. I told the lady that I was instructed to call now and she said that the 5 month VSC timeline was only an average and can take less or more. Said I should wait up to 30 days but that I should hear sooner maybe. Then she said that probably all ok since no RFE so far.

Hi Mike and Sveta,
The woman at the National Center said that they can not take any further action until the average processing time has passed which is 5 months for Vermont. Thus July 14th since we filed February 14th. Said if we did not hear anything before that to call back and they will initiate an investigation.

Hi Mike and Sveta! Called last week to USCIS and they said we can't get any info until after the 14th of July. We are a bit frustrated watching others get NOA2 and we had a very good and comprehensive petition! Will let you know, Thanks for your prayers and good wishes!
