Yes that is normal as they found lacking to your documents.,, Look at my timeline.. we filed Sept.15 and got NOA1 sept.. 22 and we got RFE April 6.. imagine how frustrating is that for 6 1/2 months you receive that RFE.. anyway we send them what they asking for and now patiently waiting for the approval hope it will come soon.. dont worry.. and hang in there.. it will be approved as soon as you reply back to them..Good luck to us..

Wow that must be crazy... as we can get CENOMAR at NSO main office for a week before it will be release... much more here on our local NSO branch... its 15 days..dont think one month is not enough?...

I have read one post here that its a torn on one side.. they go back to the embassy and have resealed it....

Hey, Look at my timeline am a september filer as well but we got RFE April 6 wow almost 7 months.. the problem is my petitioner is here by that time newly arrived and hmm he needed to go back home just to look for that paper.. so it take long for us to send back the paper they need.. but anyway its there already.. and hopefully in a short time we can receive our approval.. hang in there you are not alone.. goodluck

Its just a notice email and they are sending the blue one what they needed from you..hang in there you will receive it sooner just few days and send it back like what we did..we just sent it yesterday and hope to hear from them sooner.. goodluck

Yes right they will look for that..We got RFE for that too.. my fiance been here last march 22 and we got RFE april 6 so he needed to go back home as its in his file as when we called the courthouse there in new york they can send us 2 to 4 weeks and needed a notarized letter from my fiance and our deadline is May 9 and we not abble to catch it so he went home right away and we will be sending it tomorrow hope we can get our NOA2 sooner...by the way he just submit the second divorce decree and not the first one.. so goodluck

That is what I am worrying too and we got RFE and its the divorce paper and I dont know if they need the original copy or just photo copy..was not able to send it yet but just worrying what to send them..goodluck and hope there is someone who can answer your question here..

Yes..you need to petition your parents first as sister or brothers take time to be approve like one said it takes a decade...

I am not a master of this.. but as I have understand and read from some here...once the visa is issued to her she have the 6 months expiration and she need to leave before the expiry date and once she entered the states she has 90 days to marry the USC or else she will go back home if that expires...goodluck and hope it helps

Hello fellow VJers.. I got some problem about my divorce paper for my first marriage..I have 2 divorce in the past..the second one is ok but got this problem with my first as I have called the court in New York as am here in the Philippines now with my fiancee..they can release the papers for 2 to 4 weeks and I have only up to May 9 to submit this paper..so that must be more than 3 weeks from now.. My question is can I call the USCIS to extend some weeks to send the requested forms from me? Its hard for me as am in the Philippines now..Any advice please.. wil they deny my application if am not able to comply them the said papers on the said deadline??? Any advice please will be much appreciated.. am so frustrated now specially my fiancee...thanks in advance

Yes you right extremerecluse..my fiancee has submitted our papers before I found this site and I really expected this RFE.. I have looked at your timeline and am ahead 2 days from yours.. and in no luck for 198 days of waiting we got RFE and its just a notice last april 6 they sent us mail for RFE still waiting for the hardcopy if whatever is it.. hope you will get approve soon..so frustrating by this long wait..goodluck to you

So frustrating today to received this notice from USCIS and we got RFE but I still hope and pray that we can pass this all.. :crying:

I am a september filer and almost 7 months ...that means not another 6 months..if you passed the 6 months of their processing dates you have to call the number they gave you and I know you passed that already.. its a good sign they touched your papers not like mine..not heard any word from them since the start.. good luck to you and start calling them...

Dont know what to do now.. its past 61/2 months now and still waiting for that said NOA2.. do it will still come or no????I have seen VSC has just few approvals today or may say just one...so much frustration I feel now :crying:

Yes we did that while he is here in the Philippines last year and we just used FedEx sending the papers to USCIS.. not a problem.. we just waiting for our NOA2 this time...goodluck
