  1. You need to contact your NSO Field Office, I would think:

    http://www.census.gov.ph/data/aboutnso/fieldofcs.html

I'm sorry but this is wrong.

The one you should contact is DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) in the city or office branch where you had applied/submitted your application for Philippine passport. If you did not apply for a passport yet then you can make an appointment online to apply for a new passport http://www.passport.com.ph/ (in DFA main office in Manila). Make sure all documentary requirements are ready before going to your appointment date. It takes 15 days to get a passport for expedited service/rush processing.

  2. 1. she counts as a household member, so yes, you have to list her

    2. yes, you can handwrite if it won't let you type it

    3. yes

    4. yes

    5. no

He has to sign it though. You can't sign his name on the form for him.

thank you for your direct answers. :)

Yes, I know that I can't and I shouldn't sign his name on this form, it's pretty much obvious. I will just type infos on the form and email it to him for him to sign it and then he will mail it to me after.

Thank you for your helpful advice. :)

  3. Hello VJ members, hope all is well. My fiance’ asked me a favor to fill-up the form I-134 for him later since the military is keeping him busy most of the time.

Please, I need your opinions on these concerns:

1st- my baby is accompanying me/us(me and fiance’) to come to US but not through K2 visa since she is a USC already and has a US passport. Do I still need to list her name in the form I-134 asking to list the name of the foreign fiancee’s child who will be accompanying or follow to join?

2nd – the item number 8 under “relationship to me” section of I-134 won’t allow me to type the word “daughter” as she is really my fiance’s biological daughter(our biological daughter) and is dependent upon him and she is on his tax. Should I just handwrite the word “daughter”?

3rd – I applied for a tourist visa before and my fiance’ submitted I-134 for me during that time as my sponsor. Question is, should I list my name on item number 9?

4th – my fiance’ is divorced already, he filed I-129F for his ex before also. My question is, do I have to list her name on item number 10 and put “former spouse” in the relationship section?

5th- do we need to get this form notarized?

  4. She has no clue if her mother and father were married. She didn't even know her real name or her actual age until I told her that she needed to get her birth certificate for the interview. Her Grandfather raised her but he is old and could not attend the interview. She doesn't have a real home. She has cousins who she stays with. She will stay with one cousin for awhile and then stay with another cousin for awhile. She (Mary Grace) doesn't have a "guardian". She's a tough little kid who has managed to stay alive with the help of her cousins. I'm really worried about this situation.

Well, the NSO people require the person to fill-up a form that asks for the person's biographical information(complete name, DOB, place of birth, father's name, mother's name, etc...) to release the person's birth certificate. That means, before she got her birth certificate, she already know her real name. If her grandfather raised her, that grandfather is considered a "guardian" already. You may want to try to get something like a consent from her grandfather.. But anyway, the best thing you can do for now like you said is to call US embassy Manila for further clarifications on your concerns. God bless you and your fiancee' with your visa journey. Tc.

  5. hi i just wanna ask from guys, how am i going to fill up and print the DS form. iam apllyign for CRBA of my son.and there a question there about ssn number.and since my son didnt have how can i continue filling up and print since the website of embassy says that it shoul not be print in hand?pls help me!

sis, lagay mo ito sa box #5: 000 00 0000

If sabi sa website hindi pwede yung handwritten, you may want to call US em for clarification and peace of mind. Hurry up, you need to have your son's CRBA and US passport on hand before they will issue you your K-1 visa, may NOA2 kana pala... Anyway, congrats! :)

  6. Hello again everyone. Is it really necessary that the petitioner should file I-130 on my behalf before applying/to apply for AOS? Or is it okay to apply for AOS right away after marriage without filing I-130 at all?

Another thing is that if an advance parole can help me go back to the US anytime after I leave the US while AOS is pending? Does it has some certain days/months of validity?

I'm a lil bit confused and just need some clarification from 'experts' regarding these matter.

Some of you may think that I asked these too early for now but I just want to be proactive and always prepared for the future since I am going through this process. Your answers would be a great help. Thank you. :)

    -Love

  7. Because like my experience before, I wouldn't know my baby's appointment for DNA collection til I call St. Luke's (they were not able to call me cos they said US em gave them a wrong number to call with. )

sis i just wanna ask if they let you choose a day youre available for appointment or they will pick & set a day for your appointment? Do i also need to bring her birth certificate for identification or US passport can do?

When I called them they gave me a date for the appointment but then I told them "can I just have the appointment on blah blah blah..."... And they check the system and they said okay. Bring all docs that you think are needed to make sure, you want to be proactive.hee :) St. Luke's will let you know what to bring anyway when you call them. :P

  8. Hey thanks for the reply and yes my hubby called the DNA LAB to ask about it and they too were upset on why it took that long and told my hubby they have also DNA last january and it didnt took that long and if they wont receive it yet on tuesday they will send another kit straight to the examiner and to make sure they will call us embassy about it.They waited till night to catch daytime here then US embassy told them theyre sorry about our case coz it waited there and will try to expedite it this week. To our surprise when my hubby was tracking it, its not clearance delayed anymore but its now in transit for delivery we were so happy we didnt expect it will be that quick response.I'm thinking my the DNA lab calling them and my calls to fed ex and us embassy examiner didnt help its just waste of money coz they both have no idea on how to solve it..DNA lab called the acceptance area of deliveries.

I feel so relieved now and about calling St. Lukes thats really so nice to know and if you still have theyre contact number may i please know so I can call them once I see its already delivered.Im sorry about your experience in waiting for them to call you (supposedly)..but its them who was waiting for your call  ..I will just call them coz maybe they might give me the same reason if I wait for them LOL..anyways a big thanks to you again..

Moral lesson..Dont wait for this people to do their job..They wait for us to do theirs coz if not we wont get the right information we wanted lol

I scanned my cellphone phonebook and saw these numbers saved, you can try it - +6327230101 or +6327230301. Tell the operator you want to direct your call to the lab department.

    Your always welcome. :)

  9. To me pre-nups mean 1 of 2 things: Either A)He/She is really rich and wants to protect their assets or B) Person marrying the other doesn't trust them and thinks they are just after their money.

IMO (In my opinion) pre-nups are doen by the insecure. Either way, whatever the reason, it shows a lack of trust in you and the relationship because regardless of the reason, he has it in the back of his mind that a divorce could happen and he'd lose his $$$.

Just my 2 cents on it.

I'm just curious if we can have a prenuptial picturials and vids without going through a prenuptial agreement???

  10. And by the way, if your hubby is done with his DNA collection, it should be processed first at the lab you chose that is accredited with AABB, they wont send the specimen to the embassy, only the results of the sanguinity. The kit for your baby is the one that should be send to the US em in Manila so that when it arrive, US em will forward it to st lukes and then st lukes will notify you of its arrival and ur babys appointment for the specimen collection which is to be done at the embassy witnessed by a consul. :)

  11. It really makes me so confuse now that I havent read any post that the DNA kit after the father does it and shipped to US EMBASSY stays at costom that long..I have just check again tracking fed ex online and it still says clearance delayed..CUSTOM wont release it without tax exemption which I called US embassy says its their first time to hear about this tax exemptions..usually fed ex delivers it to them without asking them any of these. It's still stucked in Custom when I checked it this morning and its not delivered yet to US embassy..anyone of you guys experience Custom holding the DNA kit before sending it to US embassy? Im just worried with the 90 day period guys and we already consumed 1 month and 1 week.. :help:

Hello.I'dexperienced that custom thing but not about sending the kit to US em. To make the story short, dell(in the US) send me the replacement hard drive that I ordered for my laptop through fedex and unfortunately fedex was not able to send the package to me on time due to the tax for custom and when they deliver it to me, they ask me to pay 65 USD to receive it (which I actually did). I called fedex and they said this tax for custom thing was selected randomly (which means, I was unlucky to be the one selected for this custom tax). They won't do it in every fedex packages though, like they said they will just going to select it randomly.

So, sorry to hear about that.. Call fedex for updates and also call US em and St. Luke's as well for updates like if they got the dna kit. Because like my experience before, I wouldn't know my baby's appointment for DNA collection til I call St. Luke's (they were not able to call me cos they said US em gave them a wrong number to call with. )

  12. Hello world. First of all I would like to apologize for posting this topic to a wrong place (maybe). hee. :D I was just thinking that maybe I can get more answers here..

Anyway, here's the situation: my baby (7-month old) has a US passport and she doesn't have a Philippine passsport yet. She will be visiting her grandmom in the US aside from spending some time with her dad (my fiance). She will just be there for a short vacation. I, the mother, will not be traveling with her for now for some reasons. She will be traveling with her dad or possibly her USC aunt will come to pick her up.

    Questions:

What other travel documents do we need for our baby aside from the US passport to leave the Philippines and get back? Do I have to get her a Philippine passport first? And after that, are there more papers needed?

    Answers are greatly appreciated. :)

  13. im not sure about not to bringing your baby but i think pwede yon may crba and passport ka nman together with forms so i think that would matter most and not the present of the minor...i brought my baby when i applied..

nanonotice ko sa bawat reply mo "formS"... meron pa bang mga form na i-fill-up aside from the ss-5?

  14. i think you can but i will suggest just to go there in person so you can get the crba and your babys us passport back to you the same day mahirap kcng isend ang babys passport and crba..madali lng nman e just give them the forms, crba and passport then your passport pag nakagawa na sila ng copy ng mga docs. then you can go they wont ask questions anymore..no need for the dads consent..mga 5 mins. nga lng ako sa window non but i had to fall in line dami kcng nauna sakin...

ah ganun bah. do i have to bring my baby with me sa office nila? titingnan pa ba nila in person yung baby? 7month-old pa lang sya kasi.

  15. no problem??why again and again?are you from province?btw 3 weeks lng inabot nakuha ko na yung ssn card ng baby ko after application...goodluck sa inyo:)

yep from the provine. can we just mail the application to them together with the original documents or should I really have to appear in person together with my daughter? plus i will be the one applying for my infant's SS card in behalf of her since my fiance wont be able to come here to do the application. would that be okay or do I have to obtain consent from my fiance or an affidavit explaning his absence in the application process? please :help:

  16. go to ssa department girl sa us embassy..fill up the forms for applying ssn online ...tas punta ka ng us embassy no need for appointment just walk in..

  17. Hello everyone. Can anybody :help: me find a Social Security Administration office here in the Philippines? Me and fiance needs to file a SSN for our baby ASAP and we are searching for their office here in the Philippines since our baby is still here in PI with me. Anyhow, we just got her CRBA and US passport. :) I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. Will wait for your replies guys. Thank you. :)

  18. If the child is already a US citizen, why would the child be involved in the K1 visa process? That seems very strange.

If nothing else, having a child shows that you met in person. :-)

We have lots of photos showing us together with our new baby with my extended family, his extended family and friends. I do realize that I might have an advantage because I, the mother, am the US citizen.

Were you there for the birth? Do you have photos of you with your new baby and fiancé?

    Good luck!

I was just thinking that the CO might think that we want to be reunited in the US also for the baby's sake and therefore will give me a higher chance of getting the K1 visa. He didnt made it to be here on the exact day when I gave birth cos the timing wasn't good plus he's on active duty in the military but he came here like 2 weeks after I gave birth. Yep!-we have lots of photos together with our baby. :)

  19. This is another "not to be callous" answer...

The baby is now a US citizen. It can travel to the US anytime. The consulate doesn't have to give you a K1 visa in order for the baby to come to the US.

Thank you for the reply. My question was if having a baby together would help me to get MOST LIKELY an approval for the K1 visa? Cos I think its obvious that we wanted to be reunited in the US not just for us as couple but also for the welfare of our baby.

I am not asking if the CO will issue me a K1 visa inorder for my baby to travel to the US.

  20. No it won't help- not being callous, but having a baby together only shows you had sex, not that you have a bonafide relationship. The only way a baby really affects the visa process is that there is one more person to count for the affidavit of support.

 nice answer. straight and direct. :P thanks much! was just thinking maybe the CO would give most likely an approval for a K1 visa since its obvious that me and my fiance wants to be reunited in the US not just for us but also for our baby's sake.. and btw thanks for your other replies too on my previous contents before :) sorry I haven't got a chance to say thank you before..

  21. You may need to have a DNA test done for the baby to prove that the USC parent is in fact the parent. I have read more than once on Visa Journey that DNA testing was required to prove who the parents are.

:D yes you are right but as you can see on my post, I said I just GOT my baby's CRBA and her US passport also TODAY. The question was - if having a baby with my fiance(the petitioner) helps for giving most likely an approval of a K-1 visa during the interview at the consulate office?.. :)
