Hello. Does anybody know the requirements for a Filipino to get a Qatar tourist visa if the host will be the one to finance the trip? Do I need affidavit of support and the host's bank statement?

I am planning to visit my fiance currently deployed in Qatar. I will just be there for about a week if ever I will be granted a Qatar tourist visa. He will be the one to sponsor the trip. Do you have any ideas of the requirements? Is it easy to get or approve? Thanks.

Hi. Are they the one going to schedule you for sputum test if they suspect tb or you can choose the dates you want to have the sputum test? Is it true that the tb treatment needs to be taken at SLEC? Are they not going to allow applicants to take them at home especially for those who are not from Manila? What happened to the scheduled interview?

We had the sme problem before. To solved it, I called the call center agent for visa appointment scheduling instead and after like 8 minutes of talking on the phone, they sent my appointment letter thru email with my preferred date of interview. You can do the same thing too. Good luck.

I listed my daughter on the DS156K (just showing that I have a daughter) and I checked "no" in both questions "follow to join" and "accompany". Cos she is a US citizen already and has a passport, she will travel with me using her US passport and not on a US visa (in which she will never have one).

I think the reason why they asked that is so that the child can be issued a K2 visa.

The bolded is the most important. You cannot file now, then meet, then respond to the RFE. You must meet BEFORE the petition is sent

They can send the I-129F but USCIS will deny it for lack of proof of meeting in person within the last 2 years.

Therefore, they need to meet first before sending/filing the I-129F inorder to avoid denial.

It is possible to send I-129F now even you guys have not met in person yet BUT you will get an RFE for that or worst case is they can deny it cos the main requirement for I-129F is you guys have met in person within the last 2 years before the filing.

You already mentioned that Guam is a US territory. Vegas to Guam is a domestic flight not international. So, you'll be fine.

Since the person you are visiting is your "boyfriend", the CO will have stong doubts of immigrant intent (like what happened to my case way back last year). So, strong ties to the PI is highly needed as proof of return.

I called my bank USAA about the bank statement needed for supporting evidence for the I-134. i explained what I needed, and was told by the CSR that what they have is a statement of "Account in Good Standing." Problem is the CSR told me that the statement has the date it was opened and the balance, but not the total amount deposited for the past year. Are there any other USAA checking acct holders here that have called for this statement and gotten the same thing?

I'm (beneficiary) a USAA member and had a USAA joint checking account with my fiance (petitioner). My fiance also had a separate USAA bank account but he didn't used it for I-134. He requested statement of account to his other bank (hawaiian bank) and he told them how the statement would look like but then they told him that normally the statement of account will not have the total amount deposited for the past year. So, we think that's normal. Anyway, at the end, we didn't include his bank or any other assets in the I-134 cos his income is already above the poverty guidelines. We used our USAA joint account though for the proof of genuine relationship.

Be patient sis. For sure they will notify you as soon as they can if all neccessary actions are taken with regards to your case. Hello. I paid my K1 visa fee yesterday around 5pm at BPI which is Php 15,050 as this is the amount the teller told me to pay. Now, I was trying to schedule my appointment online awhile ago but at the end it wasn't succesful.

It gives me this statement:

"No service fee can be found for the entered request number. Please validate your request number is correct and you have paid the correct amount for the visa you are applying. [my passport number] "

Any advice with this problem?
