  1. I already mentioned that the Consul asked me ALL questions that were on the form DS-260. I mean - ALL. On some subjects he wanted me to go more precisely. If you have a copy of this form (DS-260) that you submitted for the NVC you can check what kind of questions you filled out. It is too much to write :) All biography data, my family data, work places, places I lived at, how many times I traveled to the USA, how long I stayed there, etc.

I already have that printed and i'm studying every day, by the way, it's information about me so it's not dificult to learn it, just for be sure.

    Thanks for the advice!

  2. Hello everybody! My interview was approved this morning :joy:

Thanks Vj for all the help I received, especially our enchantress Dwheels76 who predicted my fortune some time in January :D All my blessings coming towards you, Dear! I wish you all the best in your life! (F)

If anyone is interested, here is some info (I will write an Embassy's review later):

    1. My appointment time was 8:30, I was let in at 8:15. I was a SINGLE live soul in the waiting room! It took several minutes for somebody to come up at the window to take my documents (original documents, Photos, Police Certificates and Medical). When the lady check my name I saw 4 more names on the list for today's appointment. It makes me wonder how come I had to wait 76 days for the interview? They didn't look busy at all!!!

    2. In about 5 minutes I was called for an interview, did fingerprints at the beginning. The Consul was friendly and very professional. Questions were popping out like rockets. He mostly went all the way through DS-260. There were LOTS of questions. I mean - A LOT. Some required short, but precise answer, but few times he said 'tell me more about it'. I did good, I think. At some point I offered him to take a glance at our pictures and such, but he said he doesn't need to see any evidence as our relationship is 'solid'. I was not asked ANYTHING extra to show. Nothing!

    3. The whole interview took about 20 mins, the Consul returned me all original documents and even certified/translated documents. Good! I will sure need them in a future. He congratulated me on approval and told me to come on Thursday to pick up my passport.

    4. Conclusion: my interview wasn't easy, but quite fluent, I had to be concentrated all the time. All time I spent at the Embassy: 8:15 entered - 9:00 popped out.

Whoever got their interview approved or still waiting for it, I wish you all the best!

Can you post some of the questions that they did to you? I'm curious about it! :P

  3. I know of no form unless its specific to your embassy. What is it you are asking. Not quite following the

"Because i'm interested on ask for it because my fathers-in-law get her visa interview aproved 2

weeks ago and i will be interested on travel to the USA close to they, with my wife!"

Here's the information page from VJ. Maybe this has what you are asking.

Thanks for the post, i'm not sure if write a email to the embassy or better wait and be patience... I bet for the second option,

right now i still didn't received the confirmation email, so let's wait more, the agent with i talked on past Monday told me to

call back again in 2 weeks, so i will follow her words and make that call, i will let you know if i get any good notice!

  4. I already added you to the spreadsheet. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xbLl_8yDgHLeDaLnTrPdYc44J0sjPSFfYCKxlKx6uTY/edit#gid=0

The case complete email comes 7 days after actual case Complete so probably Monday or Tuesday you should have it.

He is telling you to call in 2 weeks because scheduling starts. No it doesn't mean you are guarateed a interview slot depends where you are in the queue for your embassy.

Come on over to the Interview thread. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/555216-august-2015-interviews/page-31#entry7733739

Thank you so much for the message and also thanks for adding me to the spreadsheet!

I'm going to participate on the interview thread, i was looking for it but couldn't find it, so thanks for the link

  5. i didnt receive any email or mail stating that the case was completed, i just got an email with an interview date. I knew case was completed cuz i saw the 3 n/a on ceac so i just called to verify and was told case was completed and to wait for an interview date and then i received interview letter via email. I assume yours will be the same, wait for an interview date either via email or mail, i guess you can call also

And in how many days you get the email with the interview date? Just for curiosity!

Hope to get it soon, i have readed that they make the appointments on the last 6 days of the months,

and this 6 are just on the next week, so hope to call on August 3rd and get a big surprise!

  6. Hello again!

I know that i'm asking for a question that it's has been repeated lots of times, but i can't find it on the forum, so i'm going to explain it:

Monday i get my case completed and i know that now i have to receive the email confirming that all documents were received correctly,

also i called the same day to NVC for make sure that i was completed. The agent with i spoke, told me that i just have to wait and

call again in 2 weeks and ask about the interview appointment... Do you think that he wanted to say that when i call in 2 weeks

they going to give me any appointment?

Also, i want to add my case completed date on the list that i saw lots of times on the forums,

but i can't find the link, anyone can add it here?

    Thanks to all!!

  7. For those of you that get the case complete within the 30 days, exactly in which day you get the CC? I'm right now on the 23th day of 30 and

i'm starting to get nervous and impacient! I had 3 checklist, and when they told me the last one over the phone, they explained me that was

only for the police recorfs (they where expired), the other documents where ok so i just hope to get the N/A soon this next week

  8. choice of agent is what starts the IV fee "clock". I f you've already paid the IV fee, the form is moot and no longer matters. It's one of the stupidest forms in immigration and it's ONLY function would be to send snail mail to the agent if you never called or emailed the NVC. The only thing it does for people on VJ is make sure the IV fee will be invoiced when it's added to the casefile.

If you haven't paid the IV fee, then the 30 days for the file to be added to the casefile will be reset each and every time you resubmit it.

I'm not sure why anyone bothers with the DS-261 after it's submitted. I wish they'd just abolish the form altogether.

Thanks for all your replies, this last one it's what I needed to read about, so now i'm calm about this.
I've already paid the fees like 4 months ago!
It is supposed that NVC have to tell me something about my case on Friday 24th, so let's have fingers crossed!
