  1. Bad news, they told me that they don't have more slots for interviews on September, they are waiting for starting schedule October, but they didn't startet yet.

    I don't understand that my inlaws are category IR-5 and had their interview scheduled on May, almost a month

    and a week from having their case completed and I that i have a higher category it's taking so much time.

    I don't understand this...

  2. Well I called a short while ago too and I was informed that the September slots have gone for Islamabad Embassy :( and they will be scheduling for October. I think it's a different situation for every embassy but I seriously don't know what's happening at NVC.

    Yes! I think the same, when i called the past week, the agent told me that they haven't started to schedule

    interviews for my country (Spain), so as you told, maybe every embassy have diferents slots.

    Good to hear that!!

    I called 5 minutes ago to NVC and the agent told me that it's one of the first cases that see this week that is waiting for the

    interview, so that can be considered a good notice, also told me that they haven't started to schedule appointments

    here in Spain, so i have to wait a little more for this...

  4. I just called and nothing!!!!! The lady said that there is nothing they could do that they are just waiting on the embassy. This is so frustrating. It's like a nightmare.

    About that they are just waiting on the embassy, that's a lie, because i received today the answer from the embassy here in Madrid and they told me that they are waiting to NVC because they are the one who schedule the appointments!

  5. I sent an email to the embassy here in Madrid and I received this automatic reply:

    'Department of States Bureau of Consular Affairs is currently experiencing technical problems with our overseas passport and visa systems. This issue is not specific to any particular country, citizenship document, or visa category. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working urgently to correct the problem and restore full operability. There will be delays in applicants receiving their approved visas until the systems are restored. Please rest assured that as soon as these services resume, we will make every effort to issue and return passports and visas as quickly as possible.'

    Maybe this is the reason for why are taking longer to make the appointments for the interview.

  6. Hope to hear any news soon, we didn't know anyone who had their interview schedule today so let's be positive, we have 4 more days this week.

    At least most of you received the confirmation email, i'm still waiting for it, the agent who i spoke with told me that i did not received the email because the system was running really slooowly, and also wanted to be sure that my case completed was real and told me the same that they told 3 weeks ago.

    Right now i'm on the 21st day since my case was completed.
