Hi Eabaas, i have read your posts here about your ap, my heart goes out to you but i can see that you are so strong and a strength to others. indeed, ap is the worst part of it all, not knowing when or if and it's easy to get worried and lose patience but inshallah you will be hearing those beautiful words soon, "visa has been issued" ...i'll keep you in my prayers...

Inshallah, it will end soon. I know this is the hardest part, not knowing but just be patient everything will be ok.

i think your day is coming soon...you are nearing 2 month mark and alot of them i have seen are clearing around that time...inshallah

yes i did, that is dept of state. i called and pressed 1 then zero and it takes you to a visa specialist. When i reached the guy i just asked for status of my husbands immigrant visa case and he said hold on and checked and said visa issued on the 15th....

lol, no wendy i never heard back from the embassy just called dept of state this morning..and found out then called eslam...then he called dhl and got it delivered same day

exactly 2 months from interview date can you believe that?

nothing. i can't even check status online. some kind of error message

Thanks wendy but now that i am home and we are separated 1 week or 2 seems like eternity. Inshallah, you and patiently waiting will hear good news soon.

Just another vague email stating that please allow the consular to complete the review which takes from 10 days to 2 weeks. My husband asked his friend and he told him tht usually means their doing the last and final checks before they issue the visa so we are hopeful. It's eid now so they won't be open all week pretty much now and i am in states now.

Oh that is a long AP that must've been hell. So i am guessing your AP is over at dos but it's being processed now at the embassy? That part usually don't take that long, wish it be over for you soon with visa in hand
