  1. yay! im so happy cuz i got touch today!

The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

i can feel the approvals next week! :))

  2. I had a very nice surprise waiting in my mailbox today......I-797C APPROVAL NOTICE!!! My case on the USCIS website still says "initial review". The letter was from the Texas Service Center. The Notice Date is November 23, 2010........wonder why I got touched on the 24th and 26th? Now on to the NVC stage. Thank God, and hoping all June and July filers receive their approvals THIS WEEK!!!

    wow dantes! congratz!!!

  3. I hate to tell you but what you have heard is true. I have a friend who is working on getting his visa and his wife has had to do the medical portion more than once now. The big holdup is the TB (Tuberculosis) test. They will take an x-ray of your lungs. If they see ANYTHING that might be considered abnormal, they will require you to do a sputum (spit) test. you have to come back every day for three days in a row, so be prepared to stay for 3 nights!! Then it takes 2 months to get the test results! If the test results come back positive (there is a fairly high false positive rate) they will require you to live in manila and take medicine for TB for 6 months then you will have to redo the medical. You just have to hope that your x-rays come back perfectly clear and that the doctors that day are not trying to scam you out of extra money by making you come back for more tests.

What you think of st lukes does not matter -- they are the only approved medical testing center to get a US visa.

We just got our ds-230 packet from the embassy. When did you get assigned a medical appointment date and do you have an interview date yet?

hi.. i have a question.. how about the "mild Scoliosis" ?

  4. FYI: I just received an update from CSC via the 97 letter that my case was transferred to TSC due to heavy volume and in hopes of processing my 130 faster. However, it now means that TSC starts my process all over again another 5 months from 11/10.

you're not alone B-) check this thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/281110-california-service-center-to-texas-service-center/

they share their thoughts and updates :)

  5. Created a spreadsheet for you guys: https://spreadsheets...9UTnY4dWc&hl=en

Included the person's name, type of visa, country of beneficiary, NOA1 date, and date of transfer.

Taken from people who posted in this thread. I'm sure there's others out there that got transferred, but I don't feel like hunting them down on other threads. *lazy*

I'll continue to add names and edit the spreadsheet as more people post.

    Analyze away! :D

    THANK YOU Saylin
