Greetings

On sept 12, USCIS received my case and sent my NOA1, sending my file to CSC. What should i be doing now while waiting? I will be using my sister as a co sponsor for support to bring my wife here as i was not working, by choice, in 2009 and as such dont have any income to show for it. i have been working since may of 2010, but will be stopping again in November of this year and then will be overseas with my wife, both in her country, the UK, and abroad from there as well and really need to have all my paperwork in order as best i can before this time. does any one have any suggestions on what i should be doing now to get this all started, as it will become more difficult for me to gather all the necessary paperwork once i leave the states.

Hey there all

We mailed off last thursday sept 8 and today i received a text with my reciept number. I signed into USCIS website and create dan account. It shows my case is in intial review. Is this my NOA1? I just wonder so that i may update our timeline and keep up with our next steps and stages.

I am a new member, just beginning to look into the process of getting my fiancée a K1 visa to bring her to the US and marry her. She is English. Currently she is finishing her degree in the UK. We met in December of 2009 while travelling in a third country. She will not be finished her degree until May 2011, we will then go travelling once again and wont be back in the US to begin the process until the beginning of 2012, when it will be beyond two years since we met. How strict is this rule? Does any one have any advice? I appreciate all your input and will continue to read through this forum to see what other helpful hints every one has had from their experience.
