  1. Thanks, guys! I wish you all the best.

BTW, I was trying to listen ( you can actually hear it if you seriously pay attention to it)to other interviews for fiance/fiancee/spousal visa ( cuz ours is IR2), and they were routinely asking the same questions. How did you meet, when was the last time he/she visited, how do you communicate, show me your pictures together, what does he do for a living, what do you intend to do when you get to the US..Basically everyone made it in Manila, except for one who was requested to submit another document. Maybe they should just record their questions, as it's all the same. LOL. But that's good for us.

    Good luck, guys!!

And Lidia, we are among the few left of the TSC blackhole batch. Go get it, gurl!!

Yep indeed we are the leftovers; I hope the nightmare is reaching the end...unsure.gif

  2. GOOD NEWS!!! SIF and CC!!!! FINALLY!!!!!

We are so happy to finally get it!! My husband spoke to a very nice supervisor yesterday (day 15 of supervisor review and we still hadn't heard a word), who said she would personally track down the person reviewing our case and get it sorted out as soon as she could. Guess at least one person at the NVC does what they say they will......24hours later we have our SIF and CC!

We think the problem had something to do with the fact that we were married in Texas....and Texas doesn't issue marriage 'certificates'. The license, once signed by the judge/priest/whoever and then filed with the county clerk's office, becomes the official proof of the marriage. They were having issues with the word 'license' and not 'certificate' like they are used to. Still don't know how they wouldn't have known that in the first place - we can't have been the first people to have been married in Texas and sent in the 'license' as proof of marriage!

Of course I got the whole 'the NVC only schedules interviews in the second week of the month' script, and they can't guarantee me an August interview....but I'm not thinking about that right at this moment - I'm still just so happy we finally got the CC!

    Congrats kicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gif

  3. We have had what we thought was an rfe last friday for not receiving our AOS package. On Monday the operator told us they had received it. On tuesday we got an email asking us to send our AOS package and now today i have tried to sign into the payment portal and it says sign in failed. I called an operator and was told that our case was in final stages of review. Is it too much to dare to hope that we might get an interview soon or is this wishful thinking? I know no-one can say for sure but has this happened to anyone else?

June 7 Operator tells me that my daughter's case was in final review, June 8 CC! Your CC is about to be real in a few hours kicking.gifkicking.gif I hope you'll have a July interview, it is not impossible good.gif

  4. I guess most who frequent this forum have finally reached a point of completion (or near completion) and that would explain the dramatic decrease in postings! Sad,,, yet a very good thing! Wow,,, i will miss the encouraging & sometimes entertaining posts I've enjoyed here throughout my journey! Thanks to all who have shared their personal feelings and to those (Saylin really stands out,,,) who have put much effort into assisting others by posting mucho informative and positive information that has been ever so helpful! I know I have benefited from this forum more so than the support & encouragement I've received from my own attorney! Well,,, I guess they get paid for ensuring it's done right,,, and not so much for making me feel good! Ja ja!

Well,,, Onward Ho!! God bless everyone with their personal journeys,,,and may their journeys end the same as the rainbow ends at the pot of shiny gold (trust me... that is a good thing! :P !)

You forgot something, although we don't post as much as a few weeks ago, I'm positive sure that everyone of us is very attentive to the posts, as you say, we pretty much like to support each other.

We still have some more steps to go through for the next 2 years, I mean the TSC refugees will keep in touch at least for the next 2 years tongue.giftongue.giflaughing.giflaughing.gif

  6. I'm a little confused about what to tell my wife to bring to her interview next month. According to the letter she received, and from how I'm interpreting these codes, it almost looks like all she needs to show up with is the interview letter. It even seems to state she doesn't need to bring her passport, but I'm sure that can't be right.

Check the paragraph right before the check list, here's mine :

    Visa Interview Requirements

LIDIA ******* must bring the following to the visa

    interview:

    * Any original documents that were requested by the NVC but were not submitted

    to the NVC

    * The medical examination results if not submitted to the Embassy/Consulate by

    the physician

    * The correct size and number of photographs

    * Valid passport for all traveling applicant

On my list passport has got a "Y" too

  7. Off-topic: you changed your user name!! laughing.gif

And I think they got an email about the IV package. I got it after sending my IV package in (NVC is so slow). It just talked about the IV package, and where to find info on what I need to send in, and the last page was a barcode (which I already had from the payment portal). I think that's what they mean by "checklist letter". Not sure though.

Off topic - I think I'm gonna go back to "Taylormadecouple" it sounded much better biggrin.giftongue.gif

I hope they are not requiring the numbers on the pages, but you know how bizarre they can be headbonk.gif

Monica should clear us up soon

  8. We sent AOS packet two weekes ago and we got a response, on that, they request the the DS-230 packet to be sent, we sent it on tuesday, however it has instructions, for example that we have to write in all the pages the NVC number,we did not do it, it also has a barcode (I dont know if it the same that we sent) check letter response, that we have to sent according to that. Do you know if there will be problem with the IV packet?, because we did not write the NVC number in all the pages and also we did not sent the barcode that this email has :S

    This makes me feel nervous

I never had that kind of request, we sent the IV packet without the NVC number in the pages, but indeed is mandatory to send the cover sheet with the bar code, and I'm now done with NVC. Have you called and spoken to a supervisor?

  9. Salut !

    A bientôt !

    Bonne chance pour l'entretien.

Pour la suite, lis bien les guide de chaque étape, et de toute façon il y aura toujours un VJ member pour t'aider.
