well folks - we had news today but not great news - put us down for an RFE. At least our papers aren't lost but it is a bit disheartening after 7 months to suddenly get asked for more documents. oh well...

i was just talking to the wife online,she says she is going to call CSC tomorrow after work,but im wondering if thats the way to go, we have had some action this week and yall know we had a reply from cheif badger, who said he was REACHING OUT to those at CSC from TSC,.... So,who do we contact there? or do we go automated with the phone helpline, or ask for a tier two officer, or email,

we are so lost right now, and i just want to be home in sunny florida with my lovely wife,,,

hi vj i am so sad with my wife she cried alot today.. we had our interview today .me and my wife went to embassy we were there early..but we got out at the end there was noone there accept us...first they interviewed me.simple questions the questions asked my wife...everything was great...the lady said she has no time she ask for evidence i gave her emails ,chatlogs.photos.letters.phone records her and mine ...(its about 2000 sheets or more than that) my wife said we have more evidence like plane tickets hotels. and the lady gave us a green paper our marrige certificate and my passaport.she said check the website ... but she mentioned that they are going to check our evidence.... the questions is this why they gave me the passaport.she even did not tell us how long will it take...

please tell me what do i need to do now...yes thats true alot turkish people gettin green papers... and how long will it take

Hi There,I am so sorry to hear that and I perfectly understand how you guys feel! It feels like lightining hit you on a clear day.My husband and I waited over 6 months for our approval from Texas Service center and last week we got RFE.(request for further evidence)Now, I don't even know how long it will take for them to approve us.I gathered everything(all the evidence)and sent them and at this point nothing I can do but wait.I will e-mail them next week to find out What the heck is going on with my I-130 petition.Your statuation can happen to any of us,it's like gambling.I hope everything will be okey soon and you get to come back with your wife.

My dearest VJ family, who've been through, and are still on, one of the most disturbing roller coaster rides of our lives, I haven't received ANY text message or ANY email regarding the status of my case.

At 8:54PM, after having finished my cases at work from 6 this morning, I followed my usual routine- get on VJ, read up on how my friends are doing, and for the hell of it log on to the USCIS website.

My I130 and I129F cases statuses were both updated as of today.

I immediately clicked on the I130 and my eyes fell on a blue dot overlying "Post Decision Activity". Not having mailed in any wedding photos, tickets, receipts, Skype screen shots, affidavits, joint account information, etc., I feared I was in for the mother of all RFEs.

The notice reads as follows:

Glad to hear that you got the documents sent off, now you can relax a little (yeah right)

Perhaps the other Turkish filer did not submit the bonafides either.... you should ask him and compare a little more (Sherlock Holmes here)

How do you know that they are from the exact same officer? You should know soon of when they receive the proofs and if it satisfies them which I am sure that it is sufficient! I am sure that you will be getting your interview shortly. It would be great if it was scheduled while you were there in Turkey. I believe that it helps immensely if the US Spouse is with the beneficiary during the interview!

On the bottom of the RFE form,officer had his number sign.Officer XM....I had the same officer.I don't think my hubby will have a interwiev while I am in Turkey,besides, Consulate told me, USC can't come with beneficiary to the interwiev.

The other guy did submit all the evidence but he still got RFE.They probably lost it.There are people who got approved last 10 days or so,their case still didn't make it to the NVC yet.Whole thing is a mess.

I am off this weekend and I will be with my husband on MSN.39 more days..and counting!!!

The tax returns would be a good idea as well as adding her to your checking account. Hopefully that and your affidavits will appease the officers.

Can not add beneficiary to checking acct.,I tried,they are asking social security number and they don't have yet.

I sent 2 dozen pictures from several different cities with me and my wife. I send cell phone bills showing all the phone calls between us. I sent my marriage certificate. What else do they need??? I am not living with my wife helloooo!! How am I suppose to have the following?

*Documentation showing joint ownership or property

*A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence

*Birth certificate of children born

*Affidavit sworn to by 3rd parties

*Any other relevant documentation to establish that there is an ongoing marital relationship

I will get 2 affidavits from 2 people (relative or friends) does it matter who I get it from? What else can I include??? I 've got the exact same RFE and exact same officer, Officer#XM 1117. I sent credit cards has both of our names on them,from US banks and Turkish banks,pictures,phone bills.

I will not wish anyone to get RFE,specially after waiting all those months.I thought lightining hit me last Monday when I saw the message from USCIS. I just mail them all the evidence from post office,USCIS is closed Monday(holiday)They should receive it by Tuesday. Hopefully approval by Friday..just dreaming....

Tomorrow Celldoc will be approved! Next week Ceyhunihal and Californiaguy will be approved! I sent TSC everything but kitchen sink.

Call the NVC and ask them what it is, that way you will have a heads up and can possibly prepare ahead of time and that way, by the time you recieve the "hard copy" of the RFE, you can have what they are asking for and send it off asap.... when you call the NVC, be assertive and diligent but kind of course. You are leaving for Turkey soon right, so of course you will want to get the ball rolling with this so you can enjoy your time with Hubby and Mom. It is probably something minor and can be fixed right away! Good Luck and let us know when you have called and what they need. :thumbs:

I received RFE letter today,they want me to send few things to prove it is an ongoing marriage.I already prepared and will mail it to them first thing in the morning.I included affidavits from my friends and relatives,bank cards in US and Turkish banks in both of our names,lots of phone bills,wedding pictures,Turkish bank accounts in both of our names.Iteninary when I went to Turkey to get married.That should be enough I hope.When I first filed I-130 did not sent any evidence,I thought that was for consular session,at least what I was told That "professional"guy did my paperwork.

I feel much better today,USCIS should receive it by Monday and hopefully approval in same week.

At least I have my Congressman's attention now. Can't wait for CaliforniaGuy to get online to see if he got a call from the Congressman's office as well (we're in the same district). I mad a "tweet" last night about another constituent (CaliforniaGuy) not hearing from his office as well.

TSC making a mistake left and right.I just received RFE letter from them and guess what guys,they have somebody else's name as a beneficiary.I included a letter and told them,that name is not my beneficiary's name.Maybe I didn't even needen RFE.They are mixing Couples

Please let me know when you receive the RFE in the mail. I got it on Valentine's Day as well just like you. What a gift lol. Since you live in Texas, whichever day you receive it in the mail I will most likely receive it the following day since I'm in California. I hate the waiting! Keep your hopes up and keep in touch.

I have got the good news allright, RFE for Valentines gift from TSC. Now I am waiting for the RFE to see what they need.I feel terrible,after 6 months of waiting and here this RFE.

That's messed up. Made you wait and ONLY NOW give you that news. Here's hoping they messed up in giving you that news, and then send you an email saying you are approved. That's possible, cuz they've been doing that to Wade- giving different infos, that you don't know anymore what to believe in.

Tell me about it. I am going bananas waiting to see what my RFE was about. Out of anger I sent an e-mail to Angela asking for more info on the RFE. Waiting a week to find out what you did wrong after waiting 6 months just makes your blood boil!

same here,I got the RFE for Valentines day gift from TSC.I am also waiting to see what is this RFE about.

I am convinced that many RFEs simply mean they lost your evidence and need another copy.

after waiting 6 months for approval,now I am waiting RFE they say they sent me 14th of Feb. still didn't received it and I live in TX.

Sorry guys for being all over the place. Positive one minute, negative the next. My emotions are just on a roller coaster.
