I did not have to submit my passport at the Embassy level because I am the petitioner. They requested a copy of my fiance's passport and looked at the passport, but they didn't keep it. The CO told us we were fine, but needed to go through some more additional processing.

Asad - it is best to start a new thread/topic for your question rather than tack your question onto an old thread. Especially this one as it contains outdated information about police clearances for UAE.

Check the expiration date on your police clearance. If it will be expired by the time of your interview it might be a good idea to get a new one but it is no guarentee they will ask for it.

Asad- Yes, you are going to need a new police certificate.

You definitely need a police certificate from the local police station- I believe there is one on Naif Rd in Dubai called the Naif Police Station. You will also need one for living in the Philippines.

in UAE u can get PCC from every state , and valid for ALL UAE States.

no ,its not possible to attend immigration visa interview on visit visa.

one more question my wife left her job in 11nov 2010, after that she is here in UAE, we have household sponsor also, she is working here in UAE , but we put in i-864 (she is unemployed since 11nov 2010) its make any problem? bcoz they didn't accept foreign income,

I am surmising the terms of your UAE visa is that you must remain employed and upon that employment ending, you would no longer have status in the UAE and would be required to depart. You don't cancel your visa, only authorized government authorities do that.

I suppose it's possible but I figure that it is unlikely you will be able to do that. I would contact the Embassy in Abu Dhabi and see if you can get some kind of expedite based on your situation. Otherwise, you will have to contact the Embassy in Islamabad and have them send a request to Abu Dhabi to have your case transferred.

hi guys , i am in big trouble , my case completed on 19AUG 2011 , Still waiting for date , Abu dhabi US embassy is too busy , so i am (beneficiary ) and my wife is living with me (we have co-sponsor), from 1 NOV 2011 my company will terminate me from JOB , so i have to cancel my UAE visa , i am from Pakistan , the question i can go my home country and after that i can attend my interview in Abu dhabi on Visit visa, is this possible ? and also i am (beneficiary ) from 1NOV 2011 i will unemployed , is this effect on interview if i am unemployed ? :help: :help:

NVC told me the same thing on Wednesday, the very next day I called them and was told an interview was scheduled for November, keep inquiring. I hope a November interview date is assigned to your case.
