  1. I would look into the totalization agreements listed on the social security website. Also the Foreign Tax Credit.
  2. credit card was charged. case number issued. glad we were able to lock in the old price before the price increases expected this year.
  3. I think there are plenty of us out there who do not have joint accounts. Contrary to the poster above, I did not even bother with a cover letter, let alone any explanation.
  4. that is it. June 2, 2023 - I mailed our application to USCIS. It should get there next week. I suppose this means see you in 3 years or so..............
  5. did you use the account transcripts or return transcripts? Account is the one with 1-2 page summary, while the return transcript is every line item from the return.
  6. I am definitely in your camp. definitely less than 100 pages
  7. getting ahead of ourselves there 😊 I am preparing the documents now, but I was seeing all the 500+ page evidence examples across these forums. Makes me wonder if that is necessary. Worst case scenario you get an RFE?
  8. I understand that. I was just thinking about your point about filing after he relocates.
  9. I think the official rules state that residency may be a requirement, often times it is. I didnt do the DCF in France, but I had to petition while having a residency visa.
  10. it is done on a case-by-case basis. A lot of people will tell you about the need of a job offer, but I would be prepared to provide a lot of detail. If you are no longer on any long-term pass in Singapore, then I would watch out for that. I think the official guide says residency may be taken into account, but by the sounds of it a lot of embassies around the world do actually take note of that.
  11. really great experience on doing this in Singapore. We dont know your details to comment on anything specific.
