almost two months now since my fiance got the NOA2 mailed...and that other email informing its forwarded in Manila and that My part to receive that packet here is getting SOON? HOW SOON IS THAT? HAS TO TAKE THAT MONTHS?

Guys, please share... Ive been asking in forums for K1 visa about this and got different answers...Fiance and I are planning to get a medical check this month .. we already have our MNL3 and NOA2...but I here, on my part have not receive yet that packet from Manila Embassy... on that forum some answered its ok no packet yet as long as i have with me the copy of MNL but some say, should have that packet also ..

You guys who had their medical check up at St LUkes, what exactly are the things needed/ docs needed there?please help...

Ok on September 19th we finally got our NOA2 after waiting 171 days!! Now my question is what does my fiancee need to get her medical done in Manila. I understand about the fee, her passport, and 2 pictures on a white backgound. What has me confused is the letter from the embassy with her interview date. I understand that the medical is good for 6 months and I am not sure when I can come over to go with her to the interview, which I really want to do. So if she decides to go for her medical soon what documentation is needed to show them that we are in the process of getting interview and where do we get that documentation??? Thnaks

Do not worry!! Ours was finally approved... after 171. One day it will just show up and you will not believe then that it is finally done.

We are slightly ahead of you. We got our NOA2 on 9/19/2011 and are getting NBI today. Already paid the $350 visa fee just last week. We are also from Cebu. Talisay City. Hope you have as much good luck as we have.

Guys, what are these DS forms to fill up thats needed at the Embassy for K1? are we goin to wait for the Embassy from Manila to send that to us or will just provide ourselves by printin it out from here in VJ? what are that forms for?

Weve just pain our VISA fee... anyone have idea about getting a medical exam at St. LUkes even if there no packet from the Manila embassy yet? is that possible? for fiance and I is planning that..... advice please.. thanks

for BPI, bring your passport and money. for saint lukes, bring interview appointment letter if you already have, print of your online pre-registration if you have pre-registered online at st. lukes website, eligibility letter if you have received it already, NOA2, most important NVC letter with the MNL case number or a letter from US Embassy stating there the MNL case number, 2x2 US visa picture 3 pcs and the medical fee.If you have old immunization record, you can also bring it. but not necessarily that you should have one. you'll undergo immunization interview anyway.

If applicable: Records of medical history of any major operations and serious illnesses that you had before.illnesses that you have to be admitted in the hospital for weeks. records can be requested from your doctor or health institution where you were treated.

If annulled bring the annulment papers. Some may undergo personal evaluation when the reason for annulment is psychological incapacity. this i have only read from fiancees' who had annulment before. This is of course only if this is applicable to you.

I think that's all but wait for other response. I might have forgotten something.

For my 1 night stay in Manila I stayed at the Airport Hotel which is literally right across the street from the airport. It was 2500P for 1 night and was ok for me. 150P to get shutttle from hotel to airport.

We have taken the 1st big test NOA2 received!!!!! Not sure what is next step, wait until we get MNL number or what we should do in the next few weeks.. Thanks

It says that my NOA2 is up on January 19th, 2011 but I really need my tax statement for 2011 to show income is over the poverty level needed. Are you saying that we could still interview after January 19th 2012????

How long after the medical can we take to have the interview??? We just got approved NOA2 and she can go get the medical exam anytime but I cannot get there for interview until January and I want to be there. Thanks

Congrats!!!! We filed for ours 1 day before you guys and also received ours yesterday at 5 pm. What a great feeling it was for us and I am sure for you to!!

We got ours yesterday to!!! but ours came after 179 days!!! Still we are happy that it has arrived.

It actuall gives both options under Post Activity Decision It says if aproved this will happen and if not approved this will happen. And on a Friday night!!!!! I dont see where it actually says approved or not approved.

do they all go to Post Decision Activity before they go to approved??? I thought they probably went from Initial Review straight to either approved or not approved.

We filed for our K1 visa and got NOA1 180 days ago. Several moments ago I got online and saw POST DECISION ACTIVITY What does this mean??? Good or bad???? Thanks

This morning is our day 175 and still waiting. Hope every morning when I wake that today is the day!! Oct 1st will be our 6 month mark. I knew I should not file on April 1st. Bad karma.

I spent a few months before my trip searching websites to save a couple of dollars. I tried several over and over looking for the lowest rate. Then somebody suggested Ed Mabunga at emabunga@juno.com He saved me 140 dollars over the lowest rete I could find. Give him a try!! Many others are very happy with his service.

This morning is our day 171. Just waiting everyday and thinking in the next few days we will be approved. I saw one from Texas and they were on day 192 so I am still not worried.

Our NOA1 was received on April 8th and still no NOA2. I am thinking it will be approved the 1st week in September. More hoping than thinking !!!!

what is the maximum time you can take before the medical and interview??? Just thinking about next years tax returns in January. We are expecting our NOA2 anyday (closing in on 5 months) and thinking maybe after the holicays would be better now that we are close Thanks
