  2. Yeah! Although not much yet. I've got some of that going on everywhere under various layers of padding. My 6s are getting kinda roomy. I have yet to try on any 4s to see how that is going. I'm so excited to be in the 120s again-- even though it's just 129 LOL.

    How tall are you? I know I always ask. I always forget. I'm pretty short --- 5'2" MAYBE 5'2.3"

  3. How's operation thin going?

    Pretty slowly but it's going. I am continuously thwarted by dinner invitations and get togethers. But on the evenings that I know I'll be out to dinner with friends, I keep my kcal intake very low during the day and make sure to go walk/jog for an hour. Friends who eat a lot and aren't on a weight loss mission are extremely pushy. I have one close friend in particular who does this when I'm spending time with her. I'm wearing my 2s and 4s but they aren't roomie. Yet. My next weigh in is Monday July 16.

    I read that you can see definition in your abs! Woo hoo!!!

    Well, I didn't start the 30 DS yesterday but let me tell you how lame I am. Saturday I had plans to go see Magic Mike. I took a nap and woke up at 4:30. I thought: great I can go workout on the treadmill. I have time. I exited my bedroom and my son asked if I would grill. So, I had to grill which left me with not enough time to get in a workout on the treadmill. I then thought: why not start the 30 DS today! i can get in a good workout in 20 minutes. I put the dvd in abd got through about 5-7 minutes of it and stopped. It was too hard. lol And now today (and yesterday) I am freakin SORE from just those few minutes.

    On top of not starting the 30DS shread yesterday, I went to a friend's home at about 6pm and stayed until midnight. I had beers and ate bbq like a fat a$$ I feel so gross today. Lack of sleep and alcohol has me nauseated. VERY nauseated. danm. I'm so mad at myself.

  5. First day of July here in Dallas was/is pretty good. It's been slightly overcast, therefore the temperature stayed in the 80's until about 1pm. Now it's 91. That's mild for Dallas in July.

    I'm still working out and not overeating. I'm suppose to start J. Michaels 30DS today, but I don't know if I'm up for it. I suck.

  6. Good morning! I did over an hour on the treadmill yesterday while watching Bones. Since I was watching tv I only burned 400 calories but it's better than sitting on my butt watching tv. I love tv too much.

    Anyway, I think I'll be under 120 lbs by my next weigh in which is Monday morning.

  7. Has anyone tried Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred dvd? I joined a 30 DS challenge that starts July 1 (just opened today as a group on My Fitness Pal). I've been having the dvd. Used it when I forst bought it but didn't get pass level 1 nor did I do it for the entire 30 days...not even close.

    It's pretty challeging for me. I'm hoping to stick with the challenge for the entire month of July, in addition to my usual hour or so daily treadmill walk/jog. Haha... I said "usual". I've been consistently doing it for all of about 7 days. maybe less.

  8. Still June. I've upped my workouts and cut back on my calories these last 4-5 days. I'm feeling confident that I'll reach my weight loss/fitness goal. *I'm not dreading the workout as much as I was now. How's everyone doing with your fitness goals?

  9. You know, the opinions of prejudice folk don't bug me at all. However, name calling, insulting people, and especially damaging others' property is rotten PERIOD IS ROTTEN. Very rotten!

    Had my car decorated over some foolishness, too.

  10. Spanish-speaking Mexican people will speak to just about ANYBODY in Spanish. Also, it seems if one here in the USA isn't CLEARLY Caucasian or of Black African descent, then of course that person must be MEXICAN :lol::jest:

    There was a scene in one of the Harold and Kumar movies that hit that on the head.

  11. Good morning! Yesterday was not a good skinny day. My workout was measely - I walked on the treadmill while watching Bones. lol. Not a REAL workout. I had seconds at diiner AND ate dessert. Just greedy. But today is a new day.

  12. Got in one hour on the treadmill but kept it easy. Then played an hour of tennis which was more like 45 min if you subtract all my mini rest breaks.

    My days are going by too fast and it seems like I have something on the calendar every weekend. I hate that.

  13. Walking 1st thing in the morning is one of my favorite activities. Not that I enjoy exercise. I don't. I rather sit on my a$$ channel surfing but that won't do anything positive for my health or my figure.

    I didn't teach summer school last summer so I'd wake up w/o an alarm between 7:30am and 9am. I'd get dressed, brush teeth, wash my face and head out for at least an hour, depending on how early I got started. Walking after 10am was too hot. This year I put myself in a position in which I need some extra money to get myself out of the red, therefore, I'm teaching summer school. As a result, I can't do the morning walks on workdays because it's too dark that early in the morning :(

    Anyway, I probably ate too much yesterday BUT I did go for an hour walk yesterday morning since it was Sunday. I also played about an hour of tennis yesterday evening right before nightfall. I will force myself to hit the treadmill for about an hour later this afternoon and I'll probably go play tennis again this evening, too.

    What's everyone eating today?
