my wife is older than me..lol.

$4000 retainer fee for the attorney...the $100,000 is lost wages for one f'n year, for when I was working. lol
-
no, but you got yourself a Cougar!!
-
Sweet Loto...so how much longer you think it'll take till you're done with NVC?
-
I dont know nothing, just what she tells me..lol..medical letter copy was being mailed to her, and as for supervisor's..she's a chickenshit when asking. lol
-
dont tell them you own firearms either...lol

-

interview for montreal is about 4 months, just on it's own, lol NVC 1.5 months...gets to montreal consulate, 3 weeks, and then 4 months...6 months..lol...and now 2 more months until my 5 months at USCIS.
do the math, lol. it is what it is.
wife called this afternoon, they politely told her they were reviewing the documents to render a decision on our expedite request.
-
Gonna get the wife to try and call once she gets home from work today..I'm slowly packing all my warm clothes for my hunting trip, lol. You calling them today ?
-
Nothing to report, lol. Wife is going to call USCIS later today to see if they've made a decision, they got the required docuents on thursday. That's plenty of damn time, lol. I'm going to go visit this wednesday, going to stay for a week and a half...I'm sure no one will miss my rude ####, lol.
Perfect deer hunting weather.
Just waiting to see what's goin on with Richi, I'm counting up in my head when all this will be done, either with or without expedite, if granted.
If granted, I'm guessing we might get lucky and interview in February, if not...probably looking at May 2011..which would almost be near our one year wedding anniversary.
It's hard to stay positive with the holidays coming. Guess I'm just fortunate that it's only a 4 hour drive to see my family in the States, as compared to some of you that are overseas.

and if not..fingers up in the air huh? reverse peace sign there in the UK correct? put one finger on each hand up...god..those people just dont realize how they make ppl miserable..you'd figure they'd take their jobs more seriously than treating us like f'n dogs.

Odd, I thought those were all standard rules at ALL US consulates..shame. I would think that having the petitioner and beneficiary there at the same time would make it a lot easier for the immigration officer to render a decision.
-
What do you mean Loto? The petitioner/US citizen, at least in my case is allowed to go in with me..I've read past interviews where they'll stick both of you in a booth, ask you both questions, and then separate questions. IT's not required, but I think it speaks VOLUMES if the petitioner and beneficiary are there. The Montreal consulate..where I"ll be going allows my wife, US citizen, to accompany me into the consulate.
-
they dont have a special expedite adjudicator there..they just go out of order and their boss standing over them I bet. I'm going to take a certification course to be a referee for MMA fights..
I'm going to be in the UFC baby!! Bisbing rocks baby!!..for all you UFC 120 blokes lol.
-
You want to work there huh? I would figure we would want to aspire to actually do something with our lives once we move to America..lol
-
He didn't have an attorney, he had a 'consultant', someone who isn't licensed to practice immigration law..a hijacker of money, lol
-
Didn't go through huh? Shame..sorry to hear that guys..if you're at VSC..perhaps you'll hear something next month anyways?
-
So you got an RFE cuz that TWIT sent a photocopy instead of an original? HOLY #######...I'd kill him..that's probably burned you at least 5 weeks of time, by the time you get it to them and they read it...all since Sept 24...jeez.
-
cool, well you pick who you want..Armeland's office is local here in town. That's who I've personally dealt with. If you need a US attorney, I'm using one out of Columbus OH..which is where my wife lives.
Anyways..you got options, which is good in case you need them.
-
keep them separate as far as I'm concerned..you're not married yet..I think certain things go into effect once you get married that you otherwise can't do with finances until then. The Canadian govt will want 'their' taxes from you, and the US govt will want their taxes from your husband. Ohh, I dunno..that's just my initial thought..I'd call the Can. Fed govt and ask them how it works.
