JOB UPDATE: He did fine. Our work shedules conflict in a crazy way.. I'm first, he's on second but we'll make it. My Mom used to say "the shade of a toothpick beats the boiling hot sun" Meaning something is better than nothing.lmfo! We're blessed and I send blessings to everyone still on the GREATJOB HUNT..including me.

This year has definitely been amazing! God has blessed us so much. From getting married, hubby getting his car and finding a job. But the greatest news of all is that we are expecting! Jan 1st can't get here fast enough, want to meet our mini me!!

Reached JFK BUT missed flight night in JFK FIRST NIGHT IN STATES!! 12 hours till he reach home....so the wait begin

Another approval from the Nairobi Embassy today! Our very, very dear friends, Kevin and Lynn ("Kevlynn") got approved today. I am sooooo happy for them! Happiest dance ever. I wish them all the love, all the joy, all the grace, and all the blessings that life can bring...xoxoxoxoxo

My husband started his new job today! We are both so excited. He is making a really great living and working 40 hours with weekends off. Not something he ever experienced in Turkey. America, land of opportunity So proud!

Good Morning VJ Fam...Prince is at his first day in Orintation right now. I'm excited for him although he looked a little peaked when he dropped me at work. He sent me a text of Thank You for being so patient and loving while I seached for work. It was hard to watch him struggle to find a job knowing all he wanted to do was support our family. Thoes still searching..Keep your head up!

Today is my husband's birthday!!! I may miss seeing him on this day but I know by God's grace we will share many more to come!

One year ago today, Ben took his first step onto American soil. This journey has been the most magnificent and magical thing that has ever happened to me in my entire life. My husband has completely changed my world, and he completely changed his to come to be with me here. He is a beautiful and humble soul, a deep-loving spirit, a never-ending bottle of prescription sunshine, and my African lion king. He amazes me every single day. He makes my life, and he is by far the greatest ever.
