Just contacted DOS and they have confirmed that our Visa was issued last Thursday! Woohoo!!

Green card arrived in mail on Tuesday, May 29...only 26 days after his arrival...everything from the beginning with the I-130 has went along so quickly with no mishaps...the longest waiting period was from interview approval til POE...God is Good

Our co-sponsor came through and we filed AOS today 5/29 The wait is on......

I want to thank LISSAPHILA for hosting the RCHOA" REAL CHARLOTTE HOUSEWIVES OF AFRICA 'S Memorial Day cookout. The Hubbies had the time of their lives together giving them a sense of back home. A special shout out to IMVICTORIOUS and her new husband who just joined the group. Can't wait for the next get together cause the fun is outrageous!

Last year on this day I was in Kenya with Ben and it was the day before his interview...the day he had to drop off all his paperwork at the Embassy, tomorrow would be the actual interview. I thank God for all His love, guidance, and strength that He showered upon us during this time. It's been a year already, and it feels just like yesterday. My husband is home, and yes...I thank God for that with every breath I take.

I don't believe this & (probably neither will you) but I "received" my NOA2 2 weeks ago- no text, no email. I just so happen to check my mail today & there it was amongst bills & advertisements. Smh! Wtw!! Well, the long wait is over, I guess. I'm just dumbfounded right now.

Thanks to VJ, I just realized that me & my husband have been married for 6 months today! Lol.I honestly have been taking one day @ a time & hadn't even thought about this. Where is that hammer bopping emoticon cause I need it right now!!! OMG!

I am soooooo in love with my husband, and soooooo happily married. This is my first marriage, and it was sincerely worth waiting for. My happiness glows and shines from me without even saying a word.

Time flies. Can't believe it's going to be 4 years since we got married!!!
