Our case has just completed yesterday. I spoke this guy from the NVC and told me that January interview is already full. So, I am wondering if I can just call the embassy to make some arrangement and beg them to give me a January interview date? Will that be possible? If yes, how? Thanks!

AD is the only one that handles K-1 processes in UAE ( i think the entire UAE ),so they will send your petition to US consulate in dubai,if they dont accept it for whatever reason,they will send it to AD,have your fiance call DoS to see where your case is at.the embassy WILL set the interview.also trying calling your interview once you know which one will be handling yours,they are very slow at answering emails

Hey VJ Fam, i have 2 questions. 1. After our K1 is approved how long does my fiance' have to wait before he can go back home? and 2. If i decide to have a non-legal ceremony for his friends and family in Jamaica will that mess up my k1 process at all?
