A few weeks ago hubby received his 10 year GC. We were both so relieved!! Researching citizenship next, we are not wasting any time!

Still no word or green card from uscis...tick tock :-(

We got RFE in November. Stressing out :-(

Sent I-751 today, finally hahaha.

I must admit, I have been lazy about this ROC. But today I woke up ready to get the packet together and send no later than this week!

It's hard to believe that a year ago on this day I was going crazy calling NVC 5-6 times a day inquiring about an interview date. So much has changed and happened since then. After all the wating, money and pain I would do it all over again because I am so very happy with my husband by my side and everything that we are accomplishing. BTW, he finally got his license a few weeks ago, YAY! My advice to all is be patient, this journey is TOUGH, but it is WORTH IT. I am not here as often ...

Finally passed his permit test!!!!!!!!!! Now on to the license. Hopefully it will be less painful! YAY!!!

Still no permit, he has taken the test 5 times and failed. We are just gonna leave it up to God and not stress about it anymore. However we are excited to be returning to DR in May for vacation. I hope everyone is well!

For the first time ever, I don't have to split the holidays because I have my family and my husband all together in one place!! Gloria a Dios! Happy Holidays to all! May the new year bring you blessings upon blessings!

So grateful to God. These past 7 months have not been easy, but they have taught me a lot and I could not be any happier than I am right now. We continue to accomplish so much as a team. Gracias mi Dios!!!

Hubby's english has gotten sooooo good due to one of his jobs. But he is still starting english courses next month to improve his reading and writing. I am soo proud of him! I hope everyone is well.

Today is our 1 year wedding anniversary, and we couldn't be better. Car is all set and we are due to move in a couple of weeks. So grateful to God. Good luck to all!!

Off to NYC for the wekeend with the hubby. His first time there should be fun!

Apartment and car shopping is so stressful!! But I know we will find something when God decides it's time. Todo a su tiempo.

I am so very proud of my husband :-D But most of all grateful for God and his blessings.

All consulates are different so I am not sure if in Nigeria this is acceptable. In DR I brought them, but they were only interested in pictures and passport stamps. I was prepared with all types of evidence though just in case. I guess it doesn't hurt to bring them.

To my VJ friends waiting for news...I know it's easier said than done but stay patient because when your SO's get here you realize the wait was all worth it. As long as you made the right pick of course. Married life is great! Blessings to all!
