I check the status daily...a little OCDish, I know! Although I am on the text message and email update, I still check it.

In three days I am going to Peru for a week but after that...I probably will not be able to go back until the interview date....so that is unknown Not knowing the next time we will be together will be maddening....but at least we will hopefully (assuming they approve the K1) be together always after that. I know it is going to be horrible when I leave, but I am just trying to concentrate on the time together.

I am gathering docs for the I-134 in advance and I am wondering if a letter from the bank officer is necessary. (I know silly question!) I have had the same employer for 7 years and make more than the requirement. I have no problem proving my salary and job tenure. The I-134 does not state tax returns, but I see that often here in the forums. Do I need to copy previous tax filings? If so, how many years?

I changed banks in June....sine the bank officer letter needs to be for a year, do I need to go back to my previous bank and get a letter also?

One more question: Does the date on these documents have to be within a certain time frame? If I get things together now and the interview date is in four or six months, will that be an issue? Thanks again!

Hello, I sent my I-129F package to VSC as instructed and my check was stamped with Lewisville, TX yesterday, 8/12. Does my package go back to VSC or will it get processed out of TX?

Hello! Newbie here again. I just realized that all of the information on From G325A was filled out in uppercase. My Fiance has already signed and mailed to me. Will this be a problem? The information on the other form, I-129F, is in lowercase unless specified. Thanks AGAIN!!

My fiance has two middle names. Really a first name, the second 'segundo', and a middle name. I cannot fit them into the first or middle name box on the I-129F form. I cannot change the font and I do not think I can fit it by writing it in. The names do fit on the G325A. Any suggestions, please? Thanks so much!
