Hello everybody, now that our case has been sent to NVC. how long should we wait to call them and find out our case number and when do we tell them to use our email so we can submit papers faster and pay all the bills that go with it??????? please info will be appreciated.

Hello everyone, as you all know my husband submitted an expedite request on the 29th dec and got approved yesterday. thank God.

the letter from his doctor at the veteran affairs hospital helped. now how can we get it to expedite thru the NVC to get it to the

embassy faster since he really does need me . i thank yuo all for the info.

Because she's been living outside of the US and receiving Disability payments from the US Government. There are restrictions such as living in the US (and it's territories) to receive some of these benefits.

I agree, read social security website and you will see restrictions. my husband receives it no problem for Honduras.

send in a little of everything, in our case my husband and I sent a few pictures of when we both met each other

parents and wedding pictures, likes 10 emails and a few letters and greeting cards plus all the western union

transfers he has sent me as proof of a bonafide marriage so far all good.

that the doctor wrote down the letter he just has to pick it up tomorrow morning and he received the email from CSC to submit the evidence for expedite request, i will tell him to submit VA p&t letter plus ssdi letter for more evidence. thank you all for the great info and help. now i have to cross my fingers and hope for the best.

ok your husband first needs to call the uscis and place a service request for an expedite. preferably with a tier 2 operative. they will take down his details and reasons and then send a request for further info from him. this will arrive in the mail a few days later. once you receive that, the evidence in reponse can be sent in the mail or faxed, in the meantime you can compile the evidence the uscis will need. the dr letter can be addressed 'to whom it may concern' followed by the specialist reasons you are requesting an expedite.

hopefully within 5 DAYS they will contact him, my husband is getting the doctors letter ready and other evidence

i hope they can grant us the expedite, now is just wait and hope for he best.

I am glad to find someone who is 100 p&t and receive all the same benefits as me, I spoke to my doctor

today she said she would write my letter stating the reasons for expedite. trying to call the CSC now to ask for

expedite. if i may ask how do you plan to show in form 864 for income and taxes , as you know we dont file taxes and all of our income is tax free. any advise will be appreciated.

He is the petitioner and I am the beneficiary. Would we still qualify for an expedite due to him need my help. The doctor said he is willing to write a letter stating my husband issues. Does it need to be addressed to uscis directly from the doctor or not. Please give me all info that you can supply me with. I thank you all very much.

A few years ago. So he sent in the court order

Approving name change with form I130 just in case

They asked for it. Since they ask for previous

Names used I would say yes to writing down your

Old name. Good luck to you.

Isn't K3 administrative closed? Am also from honduras and at the beginning of this process my husband and I were also confuse in filling the K3 or CR1, but at the end after hours of searching the net and consulting we decided for CR1. But anyways good luck to you,,! Hope next year we can be with our husbands!!

Hi hondurasgirlmeli...am from san pedro sula, and my husband and I are already in the CR1 process. As far as I know, our processes are not too different from each other. There are not to much people from honduras in VJ so it would be nice to share some stuff, paper work, timelines and all that. We just received our NOA1 three days ago, and so happy for that. Guess my noa2 will be till next year.So, no other way than tonds of patience!!!
