  1. kapatid...kung gusto mo walang hitch ang proseso, HUWAG NA HUWAG ka bibili ng mga falsified documents!!! i know gusto mo madaliin lahat kse inip ka na...pero pag nag-present ka ng peke na dokumento...tepok ang process kse you'll be banned from ever getting a visa just like the above post said.

alam ko tayong mga pilipino ay minsan mahilig mag-shortcut. there are times na ok ang mga shortcuts....and dealing with the USEM is NOT ONE OF THEM. so get your act together and kahit na matagal ang pag-process, siguraduhin mo na yung mga sinasubmit mo is not falsified!

  2. i wouldn't worry about why you haven't received anything else as of date. if everything is in order...you should get your citizenship before the year is up. hopefully November by the latest.

the process from start to end has really improved. there was a time that it took 1 year just to get the interview letter. i know because the first time i applied about 10 years ago...it took that long for me to get the interview.

  3. 1st...OP asks for some online dating referrals.

2nd...Some reply with judgemental and condemning accusations.

3rd...OP humbly and graciously responds by clarifying her intent.

4th...Accusers prey on OP's act of humility by blaming the OP for their lack of understanding stating that it's the OP's fault they made false accusations because they misunderstood.

    AMAZING!:wow:

Have some ever considered asking questions before accusing? I suppose an old fashioned witch hunt is more enjoyable (for some)?

All these years of sociological evolution and yet some have not come very far.

shoot now and ask questions later?...LOL.

but kidding aside. like i asked in this thread....who are we to prevent another person from looking and finding their happiness (regardless of how they look or find it), when we ourselves have already found it?

  4. just because the relative/friend is looking for an american love...does not automatically mean the ulterior motive is to get to America. for the most part yeah...but couldn't we give these people the benefit of the doubt? we don't know...maybe her sister is looking for an american and may ask him to move to the philippines where she is at.

there's a lot of accusing fingers going around...but all i gotta say...the females (even males) that married an american/american citizen...how did you feel when another person said that you just married your spouse to get to America? you know the reason why you married an american (citizen) is because of true love...but it still hurts that other people judged right?

give the OP's sister/friend the benefit of the doubt.

  5. understandable that your friend is in a very difficult place and frame of mind right now. but i agree with Darnell. your friend really needs to get in contact with USCIS to get a postponement/reschedule a few months down the future for the interview. it will work for her benefit in the future when she's ready to face the world again. don't want to sound unsympathetic, but she needs to get this done for her own good. and we all know that citizenship fee is not as cheap as it was 11 years ago.

  6. like everyone said OP...you have nothing to worry about. the main thing of the written test is to verify that you CAN write in the english language. it seems different for everyone...but when i went for my interview and asked to write a sentence...the IO showed me a piece of paper, pointed to a sentence, and told me to copy it and that was it!

but yeah...just let the IO officer know regarding your situation. they're surprisingly easy to communicate with when you're in their office.

  7. seeing that your question has been answered, may i make a suggestion on what to do with the xray?

bring it along with you. and while husband is at work, look for your favorite pic of him (wallet size preferred), stick it on the area where your heart's supposed to be, get a nice frame to put it in, hang it above the mantle...and when your husband comes home, show it to him to let him know where you keep him in your life :D

(i know i'd be flattered with that gesture if the wife did it...but then again...im a sucker for everything my wife does  )

  8. I'm terribly sorry, no - 'talking with the USCIS tele-operators' is an endeavor that will end up with you being mostly frustrated. Many long-term members here at VJ call the USCIS Hotline the 'Mis-Information' Line, as for the most part, the information given in 'general calls' is useless. It's read from a script, the Tele-Operators are listening for common 'buzzwords' - they hear a buzzword, flip to a page, and start reading innocuous stuff back to you... 'Wait 30 days', 'Wait 180 days', 'Call Us again in 45 days'... 'Sorry, we don't expedite unless there is medical emergency, a recently split K3/K4 case, natural disaster, or documented humanitarian need'. Sure, they'll look up yer case info on the computer - but -

all they can see is what the 'back room operations' marks in yer casefile. and what's that?

    --Receipt Notice Sent

    --Casefile in Initial Review

    --Casefile approved

--Request for Evidence Sent out to you

--Request for Evidence received from you

    --Casefile sent to NVC

    --Service Request Initiated

    --Results of Service Request

and that's about it. The sub-humans that you speak to, are SO FAR REMOVED from the actual processing of yer casefile, it's not funny.

sorry to hijack the thread and for posting out of topic but....THERE'S SOMEBODY LOWER ON THE LIST THAN IRS?!?!?!?!...lol. at least the IRS toll free number people can examine documents. but that's a different forum altogether

ok...but on to the topic at hand. agree with Darnell about those people in that toll free number just being drones. i've called them a few times over the past month regarding my case and got off the phone with them thinking #######?!?! honestly got more info looking and reading through this forum than getting an honest answer from them.

  9. What did you miss in G-325A? Can you please share it here?

    Loto

I missed pretty much everything after the name section. What happened was when I was completing the forms for the petition package, I had printed out a copy with just our names on it filled in. I was thinking of handwriting the rest of the info in. But then decided to just email her the form so she can complete it, print, sign, and mail it back to me. Sooo....when i sent the package off after receiving the form from my wife, I had inadvertantly put the incomplete set with my package.

Didn't realize that's what I did until I got the RFE and double checked my files.

  10. So you mean if the priority date does not change then it will save the time it takes at USCIS processing stage(not NVC)..is that right?

not sure it will save the time in processing. like one of the post said...same processing time for LPR and USC petitions. the wait time has to deal mostly with an available visa. but at least you've already got it filed and all you have to do is upgrade the petition which is not that hard. it only took a phone call for me. and when you upgrade to a citizen petition, your application will be changed to an IR1 petition.

  11. ok...i contacted BTI America (Bayan Telecom Inc America). rep confirmed that if you have a Bayan Family Ties Halfway Service account, they can provide certification letter and activity records regarding your calls. Given that you submit a written request. i grilled the rep and asked if the activity record will have the number called and dates/time. he answered in the affirmative. but he said that he doesn't exactly know what information will be on the Customer Record, but it will have the number and dates.

Again, if you decide to go with this family ties halfway service account, and your soulmate in the Philippines does not have a bayantel line already, they'll set up your account and give him/her a bayantel phone for $30/month (including the bayantel monthly service in the Philippines). if he/she already have a bayantel phone, it'll be $25/mo. unfortunately, bayantel services are only available in the NCR...so hopefully he/she's in metro manila.
