  1. No, not need to wait on anything, to submit a DS-3032. (Except the MNL case# from NVC)

if yer using (or want to use) the Online Payment Portal - here's a mini-how-to for slinging things INTO NVC - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

    Good Luck !

i've read that people were emailing the form to NVC, do you happen to know what email address to send it to? or will i have to mail it since NVC has not contacted me about it yet?

    btw...thanks for the reply.

  2. do you think the judges know the gay lingo "bongang-bonga?"

how much you wanna bet they do now? because her answer as a whole was only part of what all filipinos around the world was talking about. and a majority of filipinos have already caught on to the some of the gay lingo being used. im pretty sure the judges by now have an idea why just about all filipinos on the internet is focusing on her use of "major major".

  3. TravellingNomad, Who's petitioner?

Petitioner will entirely complete and sign I-864. Beneficiary will fill DS-3032 and DS-230.

To speed up communication with NVC, petitioner in the U.S may be "Choice of Agent" assigned by the beneficiary. Then beneficiary can complete above 2 DS forms and mail to the petitioner along with beneficiary's all required original documents. Petitioner will forward them to NVC and beneficiary can collect all those after the interview.

    Loto

ok cool...thanks for info Loto. im the petitioner. i went ahead and typed in all the information that i can type in on the DS-230 and got a couple of copies printed out. i just need to send them to my wife in the Philippines so she can look it over and add any other information that i missed. i also indicated on there that i helped completed the form by typing in the information (like it typed because it looks much more cleaner). will that create a problem?

  4. There was nothing wrong with her answer.. She could have said it better though.

you're correct. there was nothing wrong with her answer....if the question asked was "how big of an impact does your family have in your life?" or something to that nature. but the question asked of couldn't be in a much more simpler way "What is one big mistake that you've done in your life, and what did you do to make it right?"....the question can't get any easier than that. for anybody to say that they have not made one bigstake in their life is unbelievable. i mean when we critique ourself, we always look back at something we did in the past and we think was a big mistake. so for a miss universe contestant that she has not done a big mistake...or not have any "major major, i mean problem" in her life and just answer how her family supports her and how happy she is to be at the pageant....that was a big FAIL. and c'mon...to use gayspeak in an international competition???...major major in gay lingo means "bonggang bongga"

even diane sawyer of abc asked why she answered that way when she was poised to win the crown.

  5. Thanks for the reply everyone. I think I need to re-word my question.

How long does it take on Average for someone to go through NVC process. I'm a US citizen who filed I-130 for his wife. Someone told me they sent their paperwork to NVC in April and still waiting to hear back. What would cause someone a 4 months delay?

Also, where do I go and enter my stats?

that person that told you they sent their I-130 to NVC in April is confused/mistaken. the initial filing of the I-130 does not go directly to NVC. everyone has to send their I-130 petitions to USCIS. and then after USCIS reviews that packet, in about 4-6 months, you will get your NOA2 (Notice of Approval) letter letting you know your petition has been approved by USCIS. then....AND ONLY THEN...does the I-130 packet go to the NVC.

  6. ok nevermind on my second question. was advised by NVC that will still need to submit ds-3032 for both minor sons, but either the wife or I can go ahead and sign it since they are still minors.

so i guess i'll start on all those NVC and Embassy stage paperworks now and email to wife so that it's all ready and filled out for them. thanks for the help Bob 4 Anna!

  7. ok so you're saying to go ahead from here on out start indicating the new house number on any of the forms and it's not gonna be a problem?

also...when it comes time to complete the ds-3032, will i need to complete one for each of my sons as well? both are minors.

sorry...tried to edit first post to include this, but unfortunately, after a few minutes, it locks editing out.

  8. a few months ago, our house number in the Philippines was changed by they city government. everything on my petition had the old number as the address in the Philippines. will this create a problem when the IV package is sent and we indicate on the address the new street number assigned to our house? no problem in getting anything delivered because at the front of the house, it states the old house number as well as the new one. i just don't want to hit a snag somewhere down the line because the city decided it would be fun to give everyone in the neighborhood new house numbers. input is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

  9. yeah...SF isn't really the cheapest place to live in. but it sure as hell one of the funnest city to live in. btw...kung magpa-plano kayo ng trip to a theme park like discovery kingdom sa vallejo or great america sa santa clara...let me know. kse nakakakuha ako ng discounted ticket price through my union membership. or ask your hubby kung he gets discounts on things through his company. i know what you mean about pinching every penny. in today's economy...you have to do that. and oh yeah...kung hindi ka pa nadadala ng hubby mo and nami-miss mo filipino food...daly city has a lot of pinoy restaurants. ling nam, pinoy toppings, ma mon luk, etc. etc. etc. off of gellert blvd near serramonte. and there a lot more sa may south city.

  10. ah...i see from your post that you've experienced the pride parade that happens on weekends huh?...LOL. there's lots of things na mapupuntahan dyan. you can take a stroll on market street and see the shopping centre. or go to chinatown. fleet week is coming up in october. so that whole week, don't be surprised when you see and hear the blue angels flying over head throughout the day practicing for their show. and then on the day of the blue angels show, you head on over to crissy field or baker's beach (also known as the nude beach...but depende sa side you go to) to watch them do their stunts. if you get lucky, maybe they'll fly under the bridge. and the best part?....it's all free!!!

  11. ah...you're around upper castro. malapit sa duboce area right? they got nice houses there. yeah...that area has a lot of uphill, pero after a while, masasanay ka rin. madali lang matandaan ang mga routes. if you're in doubt, you can always ask the bus driver to help you out. sabihin mo lang where you're trying to get to...tapos sasabihan ka nila where to get off and (if needed) which line to transfer to. ask hubby na dalin ka across golden gate bridge to the marin headlands. you can see the whole SF from the headlands. a real sight for sore eyes.

  12. i watched it just in time for her question portion. IMO...that shameless plug about how happy that she is supported by her family and how very happy she is at being a contestant...which btw was 2/3 of her answer....sealed it for her being last. i agree...her answer was very arrogant. you can just wonder what the Baldwin brother was thinking at her answer. that was even an easy question to answer because all you had to do was focus on one of your life experience. i would've figured that she would've used her experience about being stripped of the Bb. Pilipinas title earlier this year and then explaining what she learned from it (which is don't lie)....would've probably gotten her better results.

but it's ok....being 4th runner up is good enough to get a contract with either kapuso or kapamilya to pursue an acting and singing carreer.

  13. the best part about living in the city is that you have the muni bus system. they come every 15 minutes which is great if you want to take your daughter around. which district do you live in? we used to live in the Richmond District off of 40th ave and then on 8th ave near Parnassus/SF State.

  14. After I met my fiancée, and found out he was from the US, I ask some family and friends what to expect. Some key items I was told

    1. The roads are pave with gold

    2. Most trees grow dollars bills

    3. My first job will pay me 100K per year, and only 20 hours per week of work

    4. The US government has a law that my Asawa must support my whole family in any amount I choose

    5. If I do not like my Asawa I may turn him in for a new one, that looks like Leonardo DiCaprio

    So I was excited

aaahhhh...the promise of the perfect world with its land filled with honey and milk!

But then I went to the CFO they told me:

    1. Upon arrival he will turn me into prostitute

    2. Expect beatings from him daily

    3. He has 3 wivess youre the fourth

    4. If you can escape him, here is the Philippines Embassy contact number

sadly enough...this kind of misfortune does befall some of our female kababayans.

So I ask my future husband about all this, and he countered:

    1. I own three cars, a Porsche, a Mercedes & Lexus

    2. I have two Yachts

    3. I have two maids

    4. I am a large land owner

    5. Im in the restaurant business

i guess when you asked these questions of your better half....the relationship was still in the ligawan stage.

    When I got there:

    1. We took a bus home, turns out his three cars came from toys R US

    2. He plays with his two Yachts in the bath tub - LOL! THIS WAS CLASSIC

    3. The maid names are, dishwasher, and washing machine - BONGGA!!:rofl::rofl::rofl:

    4. We live in a small apartment, and he promises to take me to Florida to see the swamp land he bought on the internet. As soon as he can find the person that sold it to him.

    5. I got a job at McDonalds, as he lost his job at Burger King

the unemployment benefits have been extended once again. better tell hubby to get to the EDD office!

So I am very confused, does anyone have any good advice for me

  15. :innocent: WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!nku po lalo lumalala usapan tama n yan mga mare ko.....stop n po ang sagutan nyo..nanginginig n ako dto...nan lalamig ang lalamunan at gusto n ng inuman....peace po tayu..kumanta lng...dont hurt each other feeings..ika nga s BIBLE-ibigin ang kaaway or kasagutan gaya ng iyong sarili....peace to all.. :innocent::innocent:
