Less than a month into our marriage and my husband has taken up drunken bad-mouthing. He calls me a ####### and a ###### while I cover him with blankets cause he's sleeping on the couch. I'm so ashamed of this mess I can hardly even tell my family. How did it get like this?

Whoa. Not cool. Now, waiting til the last possible day to get married sounds like something I'd do, but it does bring up the question-did he not do this before? One thing's for sure-you can't do THIS forever. Talk to him. Now. While he's hung over. Loudly. I'd get it settled one way or t'other. But whatever choices you make-you have my support.

The best thing you can do is talk to him..when he is not drunk or hungover. There are no excuses for this behavior but if he was never like that before there might be something going on. Has it been difficult for him to adjust? IDK it could be alot of things...try to talk to him. Remember, though, that you don't have to put up with it. If he was never like this and his family isnt aware of him ever being like that, there is probably something going on. Try to talk to him, and if that does...
