  1. Oy, after being banned for 24 hours, I am back. I am flattered in a way that Cleo took the time to bring this up, but hey, it's cool... Really, I am not offended by that, it just proves that many of my previous posts may not be that far from the truth.

His MO is simple, he will hit me where he will get a rise out of me: race. Other than that he doesn't know me as a person, and God knows I wouldn't want to be associated with him based on what I've seen. For all he knows I can be a 5ft., unskilled field worker... And that is ok, I don't expect him to change his ways. After all, he is the one that has to deal with himself on a daily basis.

The mods appear to look the other way, because even if it takes two to tango, he was still here yesterday, but ok... What can you do.

Now, for someone that doesn't hold a grudge, he is very good at counting posts."OMG!!! he attacked me on posts 34, 67, 71... and I believe the third line of post 92 is about me".

Wise man said once, no matter how much you want to hide something, it is what it is. I am just gonna lay back and enjoy the rest of the nice folks at VJ.

  2. I think Islam is a very interesting religion, culturally speaking. Sadly all is linked to extremists, and their twisted version of Islam. The religion itself professes what any other religion does, the enlightenment of mankind through faith and the simple precepts of harmony with yourself and with others. Islam is so hardcore on its values that failure to observe them has severe consequences as far as I've read or learned.

The only gripe I have with it is the non equal treatment of women, but it's part of what I mean by hardcore...

  3. Is that what I said?

No, its not. Get a grip Paul- colonialism has had some very measurable repercussions on the cultures it manipulated. You clearly can't be that ignorant.

Particularly when the second sentence of my post was fairly evident. I guess Paul missed that.

Although Paul does have a knack for interpreting history and historical documents in a very... peculiar way.

18 pages to have a full backlash against the OP, must be a new record.

  4. You misunderstood what I said. Over the years, I can count on one hand the numbers of times someone from Mexico has come here and stated x is a problem within the community or Mexico. MS-13 is not exactly made up of Japanese now is it. This is not racist in nature, this is reality. However, I have lost count of the number of times they have ended up insulting me in the exact same manner - petty insults.

The rest you are referring to is quite simple. You make jabs at me and my country, I make the reciprocal jabs. What it comes down to is that you guys don't like the way I push back.

No, it's not the Yakuza, but I am not sure you knew where the Salva part of Salvatrucha comes from. Think about it, Salva....dor, yes, El Salvador. Most of the MS13 gang is from ES, but you are right, a few of our scum tagged along.

Please quote me insulting Australia or their people, other than the class export I am talking to. Good luck with that

Wait, so your statistic sample is 5??? Go Mr Census!!!

  5. Reason being is that when I relied on my observations alone, I was ridiculed daily. Therefore, I just got used to backing my opinion with data.

Your type meaning people from the same region sharing the exact same views. That is not racist, that is the reality. I hear the same rhetoric from the same group.

Criticizing ideology, is not the same as racial profiling. And no, you call us multiple derogatory names, for coming from a specific part of the world, and then pile us up with the bad apples. You are (insert term), even if you came from Europe, and were purple skinned. Your race has no play in what you are as a person.

Did you really have to quote me to prove I'm a smartass???

Or did you do it just to (and I quote) cry to your mommy, or a mod???

  6. Unlike the US, which is using an outdated planning model, most people in modern countries live around few key cities. It's also too cold to live up north. Same reason no one lives in the desert in Australia.

It really must suck being in a place not up to your standards... Do you really act like this in real life, or the saying "misery loves company" is true??

  7. No I mean people who can buy and sell all of your property using their debit card.

Comprehension was not part of your English lessons was it? Americans spell and pronounce words differently to the Brits. No?

Nah, that's next week. Week 1 was about separating ####### from regular folk.

  8. We're a British colony, so the language is hardly bastardized. Just another country that was conquered by Europeans. Excluding slang, the accent might be different but the language is certainly not. American English on the other hand...

So now you are going against American English??? Let's just say that your English is not a clone of the British dialect... Aussies sound like a cross between hillbillies and Englishmen.... Wait, sounds like colonization, nevermind.

  9. Likewise, why should the majority be forced to change to accept the views of the minority. If she does not like Disney's dress [costume] policy, then she can go work at one of 25,000,000 other businesses.

That's the thing! You shouldn't even have to care, you are at work, producing, yes? Can anyone research if bigots have the idea that they are the silent majority? Should have known it was you from the start, BY... The world has enough room for a certain few...

  10. Oh it's just silly really.

There was one individual calling me a 'bigot' last night for making any argument against someone being able to wear a headscarf in the workplace. I wasn't being 'intolerant' of it at all, just pointing out the things that you can/cannot do on the job and that companies have policies to abside by. Apparently since I didn't bow down and say, "oh yes lady, you can change your mind after a couple of years and wear that head scarf" then I am a 'bigot.'

It's just iciing on the cake though of the way people have been acting the past few days on these boards... Anyone who says anything remotely against anything Muslim that is going on in the world, is an automatic 'bigot' in the eyes of some. It's silly really. It's the same idiots who say that if you oppose anything from Obama, you're a racist.

Why would you even raise a stink about scarves or hats or whatever, when it has no bearing in an individual's performance? When there's no tolerance, guess what happens? You got it!

It would be saying all men with goatees are idiots. Although it may apply to a sector of the population, it does not mean it is so....

    Also, abside??? Check the dicshunarie!

  11. Paul, you can't polish a #######. It wasn't arrogance, most were commenting on how well the game was and how close, it did go into OT after all. You came in with a rudimentary understanding of the game, and you kept blathering on and on about how it was bullsh!t that Canada shouldn't have gotten the medal because the U.S. won the first meeting in the opening rounds and that it should be tied. So I suppose if the U.S. had topped the gold medal chart and had won that game, and you were congratulating the team and fans that you would be expressing your nationalism, but when other nations do it, it's arrogance? Puhhhleeze.

    :pop:

    This is gonna get better.

  12. I wouldn't place the entire blame on the folk labeled as bigots, they have deep rooted views that come from the times when there was little to no diversity. It's funny though, because when told that their country is a land of immigrants, they say that it's a prehistoric view...

With telecommunications booming over the last 20 years, a lot of people have explored different cultures, customs and other factors of societies around the world. Today, the only reason not to be in the know, is lack of interest, because it is more comfy to don't give a #######.

It's way more easy to hate a whole bunch of people, then to stop and just hate the extremists in this case. Don't worry, that's the extremist view as well, so what makes you better than them? That you didn't destroy a part of their house? Think again. That you are not trying to force your views or way of life into them, just like they force theirs into ours? Nope...

By this reasoning, the terrorists have won, I think it would be way more American (note that there's a difference between American and redneck) to say, ok, you screwed us over, but guess what? It doesn't change who we are or what we stand for. Just sayin'

  13. You may want to do what we call a Walk-in for biometrics. Just show up at the address noted on your letter, most of the time you can go way before your scheduled appointment, resulting in saved time. All that can go wrong is that they turn you back, give it a try. After that, they may send the AOS interview letter. In my own experience, it was a month after I did the walk-in biometrics before I got the interview notice.

  14. Wheeeeeeeew!

Just read the whole thread, and I am there with the rest of the people that say Loto made a mistake by suggesting AOS, mainly because the intent is there to adjust! As far as adjusting from a B2 being fraud, again mistaken. Just as a fellow poster, it is possible, and it's completely legal.

Loto seems like a really nice guy, I don't see why he would go ranting about us being big experts and providing advice, when most of the advice came from him. I have been given "expert advice" by certain know-it-alls here, but it's always up to one to dig further. You would think that as an immigrant without legal representation, getting familiar with the laws that will be applied to your own case should be a priority.

  15. That's why you:

A)If travelling with your pet, and it's to big to go with you in the cabin, travel at night.

B)Stick to the embargo that ranges from May to November, prohibiting the flight of pets in the cargo hold.

A pet is one of the greatest gifts one can have, and like any other form of life, we need to take care of them.

I would be seriously pissed as well.
