    ok time to sing that song. i'll be there for you, cause you are there for me too. lol whats that from that show friends or something.

    so Psoft what dished you can cook. Bachelor life is pretty rough for most pakistani guys here. They usually cook daal chawal alot. And sometimes make Chicken salan. The 3rd and most eated item is egss. lol yuck how many time can you eat omelate.

    And then there are those that have the luxury of meals from restaurant or some aunties house.

    separatedlovers what you cook buddy. I am gonna be upfront i cant cook nothing.

    Man I have been living bachelor life since 1995 so my dear friend I know everything to cook and I am sort expert now. I have tons of friends here so in da evening we have little chit chat and eating parties all around the year. I used aunties cooking & resturant for years....but no more now

    OOPS that is next cooking lessons. We are getting ready to learn how to make rotti this week too. I am great cook just southern dishes.

    Shonnie thanks but you only got the few phrases I can speak. LOL

    Mary U can buy roti maker it will resolve your problem. I am no more in roti business been long time living in US so what I do every week I buy ready made Roti from Pakistan or Arab store

    By the way I will pretty soon file a petition for my Mom so your input required in order to proceed in that case.

    I have degrees in information system & finance. I have been using ERP (PeopleSoft) technologies for more than 6 years prior to that I was in databases. My current assignment is in SAP R/3.

    yeh! This is an immigration forum! I would suggest that we stick to immigration instead of posting this stupid #######! Live and let live! Spread the message of peace love and harmony... Thats what Islam teaches anyways!

    Are you crazy atheist? Rasool Allah is our leader we call his name everyday 5 times in azan his insult is the insult of whole Muslim nation. I can understand that this is immigration forum but if you look around you find people discuss everything no matter it is immigration or not. Anyway please watch your mouth next time.

    I always use phone cards. I have bundles of them already. Also, we use text messages on cell phone. INSHA ALLAH I will send her all the used phone cards and cell phone recodrs so she can take them to embassy, INSHA ALLAH.

    My friend card doesn’t work for you. Try to use www.click2dial.net and get unlimited call from Pakistan on your home or cell phone is real cheap $35 per month and receive as many call you want. Your wife will pay only for local calls.

    Okay, ALHAMDULILLAH, confusion is cleared. I called USCIS and after 80 minutes of hold was transfered to an immigration officer, who said the reciept number on 2nd NOA1 is correct and that it will take upto 60 days to see it online and that it may take upto 4 months to process. But she told me about 4 months just by looking at march 05 date. So lets just wait and pray to ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA'AALA for easy home-coming for every one's family. Aameen.

    embassy recieved packet 3.5 on 4rth JUly, How long i have to wait for interview letter

    would i have enough time to call my wife in Pak?

    embassy takes from 2/3 weeks to review and schedule interview. right now ISL is scheduling interviews for Nov 2006 you will definitely get enough time to call your wife.

    Friday July 7th. the ISL embassy tried to issue the visa. and it Triggered not just ONE security check

    but 4 of them byches. :angry: we already knows it takes 4 months + to clear a security check.

    I guess we wont be togeather for the christmas holidays coz, 4 months from now is < nov>.

    I did not tell Javed yet. this is gonna crush him. :( I know its crushing me.

    but I am not gonna cry. not gonna cry noooo I cant cry...

    I am sorry to hear that I think it is a good idea to plan a trip to Pakistan and visit him while visiting there it wouldn’t harm you to visit Islamabad and inquire about your case status.

    Not true. Hindus who convert to Islam in India are explicitly instructed by their imams that they must never use Sanskrit-derivative words for God, even in conversation. The only acceptable words are Allah or Khuda.

    What does Khuda mean?

    In Persian Khuda = Parwardigar = Allah = God
